Harbor Freight — Local services in Meridian

It was about three years ago that I purchased a $299.00 plumbing snake from HF. It was stationary and manual feed. It was a bad experience when everything else Ive bought over the years has been great. I explained to the manager at the Harbor Freight in Meridian MS about the very second time I use the unit it kinked up and continued to do this throughout the time I had it and I finally threw the unit away because of the frustration with dealing with the unit. He told me that they would not back the unit up because it was over three years. I was very disappointed because Harbour Freight usually backs their product up and it shouldnt in fact make a difference due to the time with the problem it was simply a defective equipment and they should have backed their product up. I ordered me one online cheaper and better and kink free. Harbour Freight should model their business with respect for their customers and the problems with the equipment. I bought a Vulcan welder and had it less than 90 days when it stopped working correctly. I returned it to the local Harbor Freight and was charged a restocking fee for something that was not working and would not be restocked. I called Customer Service and was told that they had to charge a restocking fee due to the fact that shipping charges were so high. Why should we be charged a restocking fee (shipping fee) when it is not being repaired for me to pickup and use again. It was returned due to nonworking status. I hope you don't need any help... because you ain't getting it here. Even the manager is a smug prick. I bought an air compressor and it had a bad carburetor. Went to bring it back and the manager acted as if she bought it for me with her own money. The compressor wouldnt crank but because I put gas in it, they wouldn't take it back.
