I shopped 15 different furniture stores. I went to the large furniture store off the freeway (RC Willy). On that particular day, I was rushing around because I just moved into my house. I was wearing sweats and had hair pulled up, I guess I looked like I could not afford furniture, because I was completely ignored. I just kept thinking to myself, I have a 4-bedroom 2 living room house to furnish and I can not get any attention. Granted I am from Alaska and I am also very frugal, but I want some bang for my buck. I found other furniture stores overpriced for the quality of furniture. I walked into Meridian home furnishing, don’t expect the flashy floor room, expect a family run business. They are amazing. I was looking around the floor and the salesperson was so helpful. When another couple walked in she said “excuse me while I help this couple, we run on a very short staff so we can pass on the discounts to you.” She was so professional and “Honest.” This family run business helped me furnish my whole house. Every room. Some of the furniture on the floor room, was not what I was looking for, I wanted a little better quality, so they helped me shop through catalogs to buy inexpensive, quality furniture. I absolutely love my bar stools – we picked out restaurant quality. My power sectional couch is simply amazing!!! I simply love my bedroom furniture and also picked out an adjustable base – It is very similar to really expensive Tempur-Pedic I bought in Alaska. If you want quality and to support a locally run business, spend the time at this store. They will not...

We really loved this place the moment we set foot in the door. Affordable prices, good products and the staff were friendly and helpful. I was really surprised at the customer service experience that we are still having. We loved a gray sofa they had in stock but needed a different orientation. We asked them to order it and paid in full. They said it would take 4-6 weeks. When it was delivered it was oriented like the floor model...the one they had in stock?! So they had to take it away and reorder. It looks like the person who rung us up ordered the wrong couch but didn’t admit the error. No one really said sorry and instead the person helping us sort of acted like we had made the mistake or changed our minds. We took the high road and said okay we will wait for another 4-6 weeks. We just want the sectional. The guy helping us said he wasn’t sure how long it would take and then a call one day, they received it and confirmed over the phone left chase with right bump chase. Then, AGAIN, they delivered the same couch with wrong orientation. They again had to take it away. This is 13 weeks later and still no couch and no phone call to offer assistance or a solution. At this point, sad to say, I really can’t recommend going here. If you do I recommend that you only buy what they have in stock and never pay in full before they have it on site and you’ve confirmed the order was placed properly. Sorry...

Ripoff artists!

They sell only via craigslist by appointment only. They advertise cheap sub-$1000 specials, while using pictures of $4000 products to misrepresent what is being offered and then run the bait and switch when you show up.

Biggest con-artists in the valley! We after finding out that the manufacturer of the (Pegasus) model of leather sectional we were ordering from her has never been manufactured of actual leather; (We went to the manufacturers website to check and found that Parker House sectionals are listed as Dacron wrap with imitation leather) we cancelled our "verbal" order and they immediately took our money directly from my credit card after I called to cancel.

Fortunately I have a time-stamped recording of the cancellation...

Update: We confronted Kelly & Trent Harris today with their falsehoods and the fact that we had a conversation with their supplier Parker House, and with the District Attorney's office. Once we shared with them the fact that given the facts: The District Attorney's office shared our concerns about the existence of illegal conduct in this case. We were given a full and complete refund.

It helps to record your calls with them. A lesson for Meridian Home Furnishings: Nobody can take your integrity away from you; you have to give it away willingly... If you had only been honest with us from the start, none of this would have...
