I love the food from this place and me and my family always come here when craving sushi, BUT last Saturday I was extremely disappointed and will never ever come back, I'm sorry but not again. I brought my friends visiting from out of town to have some sushi, food as always was delicious and since it was Saturday night they were a little busy so our server was in a hurry taking our orders but we completely understood she was in a rush, her service was OK but not excellent, I did catch her rolling her eyes when one of our friends asked her for Sriracha sauce after I asked her for more dressing for my food. Anyways, by the time she brought out checks she said that 20% gratuity was included on parties over 8 people, and to be honest she didn't deserve the 20% I understood because the manager said it was specified in the menu, we were a table of 6 adults and 2 babies. Well, when I got the check I noticed that at the bottom it said RECOMMENDED TIP and it had 3 options, 18%, 20% and 22% (I believe), and she circled the 20%. But I was in the middle of a conversation so I just gave my card to her and she got back with the manager and the iPad to pay, once I TAP my card I noticed tip was not included and it was asking me to enter my tip, she immediately took away the iPad from me and entered 20% and pressed enter and then gave it back to me to just sign. One couple that was with us wanted to pay their own bill and their bill was around $85.00 they gave her $100.00 and told her to keep the change but then she came back again with the manager to get the other 5 dollars and some change because she told them they needed to tip 20% . They acted very greedy and me and my family will never...
Read moreThe lady up front needs some serious customer service lessons and some problem solving skills. This is the second time I've been in here to get an uber eats pick up and both times this lady is very rude about looking at your phone and seeing you verify the order. Well I already had and she doesn’t know what my app looks like clearly so she is worried I am going to steal her food I guess. I respectfully expressed that it is rude and explained that if she has someone steal from her, then she needs to remember that person and treat them like that. She says they never come back in. Yea, because they get kicked off the app. I am an honest worker and it is their choice to sign up to use a carrier like uber eats, after I gave her one solution she didn't like, she asked for another one. Not a problem solver. More importantly, she was just trying to argue with me the whole time, saying she wasn't the owner. She asked why I just didn't cancel, and I explained that if I cancel, it affects my rating as a driver, and I can't work. If her solution is for a driver to cancel instead of solving the problem, this place is going to close. Take a note, look at a license plate, deny the thiefs sure or just cancel the option since you can't handle the PnL that...
Read moreIn 1 hour and 20 minutes we were at this restaurant we never saw our food outside of the miso soup that was brought to us. It had been over an hour since we ordered before we decided we couldn't wait any longer. The only reason for the 2 star instead of 1 star was because the staff was present enough to waive our 2 sodas and 2 miso soups ($5). My Fiance and I really wanted sushi. I had heard a few things about this restaurant and initially when we looked it had good ratings. As we dove deeper we noticed that quite a few people this last couple weeks experienced severe wait times, but we wanted to give it a chance anyways. Unfortunately those red flags and poor ratings were not wrong. If this location ends up reading this review please do not fill your restaurant if guests are not going to be served in a timely manner. If you are short staffed then fine, every restaurant faces difficulties, but close down some of the booths and let people know there will be wait times instead of making us find out on our own over an hour later. I was really excited to try your food today but now I don't know why I would ever feel the desire to try to come back here...
