I only gave this place a one star because zero stars were not allowed. We lived in this park for three years. At the beginning all was fine. However, in the past year or so, phone calls were not returned from the management and when you did finally reach someone, they would tell you they never received your previous calls, even though you have them documented and had left a message. In addition to denying that they had received your call, they had acted on some of your complaints - granted in one case it took them over a week. But the office never called you back...it was a 3rd party - an electrician or the security company when we could not access our home's from door because the security code no longer worked. We got one text message from management at the beginning of the problem saying there was an issue and they were looking into it and would get back to us. After a week of hearing nothing, we ended up threatening with a lawyer, after which we did get a text from the security company with a new security code. However, we did not hear from management and at the beginning of February, I was told there had been no call from us at all regarding this.
In addition, this park is full of stray cats...that seem to multiply on an hourly basis. Management's solution to this is "don't feed the cats". We didn't feed the cats, but that didn't keep them from coming into our yard, destroying our lawn chair cushions, and our plants.
The park sets rules but does not follow through with them. For example, no parking on the street at night - use your car port. No parking in spaces that you are not paying for. No fighting. Police action in the park with be acted on and possibly resolved by eviction. None of this is followed through - at least not with all the tenants - just a few of them.
Our issues were not with the majority of the neighbors. For the most part, the neighbors are great! It is management that sucks!
One week later - To add insult to injury, this park has the nerve to send me an invoice for April 2021 lot rent and utilities. We are told they want us out by 3/31/21 and they send me an April invoice? They still haven't responded to e-mails or calls. PLEASE - SAVE YOUR SELF A MASSIVE HEADACHE - STAY AWAY FROM DEALING WITH THE COMPANY THAT OWNS...

I've been staying in my RV for a few months. I have a few months left in my reservation.
The entire reservation process was done online. When I requested to change lots, they were swift in getting me placed in a new one. RV lots have water, plumbing, and power hook-ups, patio space, and 2-car parking at each RV Lot. The lots are very spacious. There are length restrictions. My 32' seems to fit everywhere. The laundry room is code entry, and the machines take quarters. There's a pool and spa. The bathrooms have showers. The desert landscape is a little rough on your pets' paws, but a few yards have grass. All people and animals that I've interacted with so far were friendly on the Southern Palms side, but the Country Cousins side needs some attention. If you're coming from Mesa Drive, you may get stuck at the train.
I had #SP57 a few months ago, and I couldn't roll out my awning because there was a tree in the way, but the landscapers came through the other day and cleaned up the park. It looks really nice. I also had to go buy new plumbing adapter fittings because the plumbing hook up is buried too low in the ground, but I was able to get them at Walmart. The hose spicket was also loose. Be careful backing your RV in because there is a structure next to the space.
I've been in #SP2 now for about a month, and my only complaint is the road noise, and it looks like the stray cats might have made my hose into a drinking fountain. It is Arizona, after all 🤷 Duct Tape pretty much did the job. Other than that, I'm very happy where I'm at.
UPDATE 8/8/23 My reservation is up soon. When I tried to reserve another space on Campspot, it was going to charge me $1700/mo. When I called MAR, the rep said $999/mo. Not sure what's...
Read moreRenter beware, the management company took money from my deposit and said it was for an ending "water meter read" . We NEVER hooked up the water to our trailer, nor the sewer. The trailer was only there for 5 weeks and we didn't stay in it. When confronted the manager kept insisting it was in the leasing agreement and she made no sense. How can someone who never used the water have an over $90 bill?? Shady business there. VERY SHADY! Go elsewhere!
In response to their reply. I know there is a base water charge as I was paying it monthly!!! This money was charged to me above and beyond the monthly water charge that I was already paying in the monthly rent. It was extra that was taken from my deposit at the end after I had already been paying it monthly. There is no way there was an end water meter reading when we never hooked up to the water in the first place. YOU ALL ARE SHADY!!! I wonder how much money you have stolen from residents over the years. Taking money from their deposits for frivolous "water meter" charges. A class action lawsuit needs to be filed against...
