Antojitos LindaMar MESA — Restaurant in Mesa

I was so excited and looking foward to eating at this place because ive seen it all over tiktok but I was disappointed. When we first walked in it was pretty empty the whole place had balloons popped on the floor a table with ballons and stuff it looked pretty unorganized but it was okay cause we were excited. We ordered our food and id say it was pretty (fast probably because nobody was there). My sister had also ordered her food separately but the lady was rather rude. We asked for a receipt but wasnt given one but it was okay cause we were excited to try the food. the food was okay but i feel like it was over priced we payed $38 for three things (tosti elote, elote en vaso and mini pancakes. ). My sisters food was $68 for 3 mangonadas and 1 tosti elote. We've tried other places and the other places are cheaper and better. My sister went back to order a chamoy pickle and the lady was so rude about it she rolled her eyes and said “anything else ? “ another thing happened when my cousin went up to ask for a cup and the lady rolled her eyes and just gave it to her. Why do these employees have so much attitude its so unprofessional. The place was not busy and we were paying costumers ? What went wrong ?? Im sorry but I wont be returning. I called ahead to place an order of 2 mini pancakes they told me they weren’t doing phone orders . But she said she could still take it . I called around 6 I didn’t go to pick it up untill 6:40 they told me it was gonna be ready in 20 so I gave them a few more minutes. When I arrived they had a line and ignored me for about 10 more minutes when they finally asked me I said I was there to pick up a phone order they said they didn’t get a phone order untill the other girl said they were working on it and it would take 10 more minutes I gave them 15 min and went to ask again and they said it was almost ready of all this I didn’t get my food until about 8 . The only reason I waited was because my girlfriend is pregnant and she follows their instagram but after alll this we will not be returning stop hiring high school girls !! They have their phone in the pockets and while they are using the cooking gloves they use their phones not good at all I hope the owner sees this and make them out...

The first time I went to this place, it wasn’t anything worth writing a review for but I definitely thought “I should bring some friends here for ice cream.” The second time I decided never to go back. I felt unwelcome. It took over 10 minutes to prepare an ice cream drink with only 2 other customers in the store that had already been served. I saw my ice cream drink being walked back and forth through the front behind the counter and felt uncomfortable. Then a group came in and I watched my drink be put into a freezer while the groups order was taken while I stood at the counter waiting to pay. The group was plus 5 and there was no way I was going to stand there while she took everyone’s order. I didn’t feel welcome to begin with and decided to simply leave. I hate to put a racist tone on this but I noticed the difference in how I was spoken to versus the Spanish people present. No worries! I’ll keep my money and find an inclusive ice cream shop for me...
