If I could give this hotel zero stars I absolutely would the manager Brittani who runs the front had completely humiliated me and my girlfriend we had stayed for two nights. One night was booked through Priceline. One night was booked through them and they came to us the second day and said that they needed to come in while we were naked and in the hot tub that we had bought for the night in room 105 and said they needed to check the fire alarm which wasn’t even going off. It was only beeping because it was the battery was dying. She said that we were smoking in the room and that we had a towel shoved under the door, which is not true we had about doing laundry and had put our laundry by the door so we could carry it out the next time we went down to the front desk story short, they stood there and watched us get dressed mind you not even get dressed, put a towel around ourselves. The manager Brittani was not even there. She was on FaceTime with the girl who was on duty at the time and she told us that we had 20 minutes to leave the hotel, even though we had so one one more night paid for and if we didn’t, she was going to charge us double for smoking in the room, even though neither one of us smoke cigarettes, we only smoke vapes, and we didn’t even hit our vape in the room. We took them outside when we went to our car or walked outside, so not only did they kick us out and give us 20 minutes to leave. They stood with the door open in the hallway for everybody to see us dress naked while the manager Brittani was on FaceTime and the employee was standing at the door with an open then we were forced to get our things together as fast as possible in a blizzard and did not have any more money to rent another hotel room, even though we were on our way to my grandmother‘s funeral so we wind it up staying the night at a rest area freezing cold because this hotel manager Brittani decided that we were smoking in the room which by the way she came in and looked all around not the manager, but the other employee didn’t smell. Smoke didn’t see smoke didn’t see ashtrays there was no there was nothing in there to do with smoking anything so I would never recommend this hotel. They humiliated us. They forced us down the hallway and out into the snow half dressed and watched us take off our towels and dress in our room with the manager Brittani on FaceTime and the hotel employee standing there with the door open which she said that she had to leave open so now I have contacted corporate and they are taking care of it. Priceline has refunded me for my first night. The second night was through their hotel and they have now told me that without Brittani‘s approval which is the manager they cannot refund it so corporate has filed a complaint for us being humiliated and for them watching us, get dressed naked and pile all of our stuff into our car in the blizzard and now we are contacting an attorney because it was unjust and unfair that with people in the hallway we had to walk half closed to our car because they had a smoke detector in the room that had a battery that was dying and was beeping that’s all that happened so whatever you do do not stay at this hotel. The manager is a horrible human being with no empathy for others even after I explained to her that we had no more money and we were on our way to my grandmother’s funeral in tears on top of that when I called and asked for corporate‘s number, they refuse to give it to me, and then when I asked for the manager‘s name, they first refused to give it to me then after I called corporate and told them they gave me her first name only and told me that they were unable to give me any more information nor could they refund it because it was her who had to do it personally, so by all means stay at any other hotel in this area aside...

Did that get your attention? Because I wish it did. We had a small misunderstanding when we first arrived in the area. We arrived early and the damn manager was on her phone. The person we had a reservation under went up to her and she just said, "What do you want?!" They said we were here and she just said, "You have to come back at 3:00 pm." A little off-putting but ok. We had animals with us and we went somewhere to unload them so they would be out of the heat and hung out for a couple of hours. We returned at the time, got our key and misunderstood the "room limit" as well as the pet policy. So we were bringing them in, there were 5 of us and the manager STALKED us to our room. We explained our situation and she said, "No pets and I'm moving you to a room closer to the office because we need to keep an eye on you. Only two of you can stay." We had to pay extra to get two other people in the room, that was user error but NO options were given to us when we explained our situation. That doesn't sit right with me. I locked the door in the room after we got in for the night and turned.
The room's terrible. Yellow bathroom that looks like no one's cleaned it, missing smoke detector on the wall (pretty damn sure that's illegal), TV barley works, it felt like a prison cell. Actually no, we VISITED the Mansfield Reformatory and that looked nicer. And that's been shut down for 20 years. We felt like a member of staying in the Bates motel, and that's not a good sign.
We finally got some sleep and woke up the next morning for food. The breakfast the next morning was terrible. Barley any options, the doughnuts they served were stale, and I'm pretty sure the waffle maker wasn't working right. We called corporate and complained about how poor the customer service was.
The Wi-fi didn't work either. I went to the front desk and asked the manager, "Why am I getting the following message for Internet?" My screen only showed one line, "Killed". I showed her the message and she said, "Oh maybe the weather's messing it up." I looked at her and asked, "Could we have the wrong room number? I know you moved us and I think you might not have fixed it in your system." Her response, "No I remember you, and I don't like your attitude. So you can either deal with it or I can give you your $8 and you can leave." I gave her a glare and just said, "I hope you enjoy," and left. The woman is not someone you can deal with in a rational matter.
Which then leads to this: Since we complained to corporate, she whined to the owner, her husband, stating that we said she was rude (draw your own conclusion from the part up here) and we were kicked out. Just for reporting her to corporate for her poor customer service. We weren't even in the hotel! We left to see the town as tourists! They said we had 10 minutes to come collect our stuff or they would throw it out! We called the cops. They showed up and, I kid you not, this is what they said, "We're out here every day dealing with a situation like this." EVERY DAY! These people are stealing your money because they kick you out if you report them and whine about it. They don't even return any of the money you pay for, a day before or 3 months in advance! We've reported them to the BBB and the Attorney General.
Save yourself the headache, the time, and the energy. Go ANYWHERE else. Sleep in your own car if you have to. It's probably cleaner and more...
Read moreNever again! Absolutely THE WORST hotel stay we've ever had! I wish I could give ZERO stars! 🤬
I called and booked this room with them directly for my husband and son on their trip. (not online or with a third party)
I had to work, so I would have the credit card. I let the hotel know this 4 days beforehand. The guy told me that it was no problem at all and he would send me a form via email so that my husband wouldn't need the credit card when he got there. I filled out the form and sent it right back, while the guy was on the phone with me. He says he received it and all was well.
Now, fast forward 4 days. My husband and son get to the hotel and try to check in. My husband and son both said that the front desk lady was absolutely horrible to them, treating them like they were a nuisance, rolling her eyes, etc. She told my husband that she had to have a credit card. He informed her that I had already taken care of that 4 days ago and had sent in the authorization form to the corporate office that I had spoken with and booked with. She said, "Well whatever, she didn't send it to ME, so she'll just have to do it again!" So he called me on the phone to let me know what was happening.
Then she told them that the room wasn't even ready. Check in is at 3pm, and they were there at almost 4pm.
I was on the phone with him and I heard the way she was talking to him and I was completely appalled and VERY mad! I almost drove the 3 1/2 hours from my job to that hotel to deal with this lady myself! 🤬
She threw a fit because she had to send me "her" authorization form...which I filled out AGAIN and sent right back... AGAIN.
Once she decided to finally open her email (another 30min later) she finally got around to checking them in, after waiting for the room to be "cleaned".
When they got into the room, they said it stunk so bad. They described it as mildew, dirty feet, and rotten food. My husband went and got room spray to try to mask the smell, but it didn't help much. I was now on video call with my husband, so he could show me. He said that I was lucky it wasn't "smell-a-vision". I could see pieces of trash all around on the floor, the bed was barely made and looked as if someone had just been laying in it, and had hairs in on the sheets and blanket, trash in the trash can, mold in the shower, and the list just goes on and on! Ohh!! And a friggin DOG barking in the next room! They said the dog barked all friggin night, barely got any sleep. They ended up leaving earlier than anticipated because they didn't get much sleep due to that room and the dog. They also said that the breakfast was stale cereal and juice. They stopped at a gas station and got breakfast.
If it wasn't for the fact that my husband and son had an appointment time that they were now an hour late for (because of the front desk authorization issue and the room not being ready) I would've told them to leave and I would've booked them somewhere else to go!
After this experience, Days Inn has...
