I knew Red Roof Inn’s weren’t normally good but I wanted to give this one a try since the reviews seemed okay. Boy was I wrong. This is by far the worst hotel experience I’ve ever had. First thing was walking into our room & realizing the window was wide open with a broken lock so anyone could come in at any given time from the outside if they wanted to. I told them I didn’t feel comfortable staying in there so they gave us a different room that’s right off the front office. The bed is horrible, all you feel are the springs in the mattress, they don’t even have a mattress pad/protector on the bed. Gross. The room has a disgusting musty smell to it. The shower has a weird noise when it’s on. Haven’t even been here 8 hours & those are the complaints. I wish I could get my money back but unfortunately we are stuck for 2 nights. Definitely not worth the money. Do yourself a favor & don’t stay here.
Update: People next to us were extremely loud at 2 in the morning partying & making lots of noise. I called the front desk to ask them to be quiet & the guy was rude to me & basically treated me like I was the inconvienence. The next day we decided to leave because we just couldn’t take it anymore. Our backs hurt so bad from the crappy mattress. We lost money but spent the last night in a much...
Read moreThe room was clean, the light in the vanity was very bright and the vinyl flooring was a nice touch instead of nasty carpeting that is never cleaned. Depite that we wouldn't stay again. The tub drain was clogged, there was no elevator (no mention of this on the website), the key cards cleared if too close to a cell phone (how close is too close?), the faucet was plumbed backward, the vessel sink looks nice but leaves no counter space for toiletries (we used the ironing board), the only chair for sitting, aside from the desk chair, is an armless dining room chair, the WIFI was spotty, the pillows were flat, and the breakfast was fair at best. We mentioned the sink plumbing to the owner and all she said was that it's an old hotel and was probably always that way. But the vanity area is obviously updated and the area beneath the sink is open so it should be easy to disconnect the lines and connect them correctly. There are too many issues with this hotel to make us want to stay again, even though the price was good. They should consider raising rates a bit to provide some funds for the...
