Typically, I wouldn’t waste my time writing reviews, but I have been trying to write a review for almost a year now. They keep trying to take it down on booking websites.
This is my honest review and is extremely details based on the horrifying encounter we had.
I booked a trip to Napa for my boyfriend’s birthday. Just like other reviews, the pictures and the outside look fine. But when you enter the room it smells like smoke and has awful stains. When I first arrived to check in, she put her finger in my face and said wait. She was on the phone screaming at someone saying that they are just looking for some type of compensation and was lying. When she finally checked me in 20 minutes later. She couldn’t find the reservation and has me sign for a new one. The booking.com pictures showed a wine and chocolate package. When I called her, she started screaming at me saying i’m lying and that I’m trying to get some free compensation. She tells me to come to the front desk. I then go to the front desk without my boyfriend. And both her and her husband started yelling about how i’m asking for a free night and they will just cancel our hotel. I was scared because Napa was fully booked and this was our last resort. At no point did I yell at her or anything. The man was pretty sexist. He said he is only going to talk to my boyfriend not me. Then he left and stopped my boyfriend while he was unloading the truck. We ended up having to stay quiet because we just needed a place to sleep. During this conversation they said that we couldn’t afford a fancy hotel Napa and shouldn’t complain. At this point, I had to go back to work (remote job) and couldn’t deal with this. They turned off our wifi while I was working!! I know they did because others said their rooms had wifi. We then had to drive to a starbucks so that I could work. We had a long drive I was on a schedule to keep plans going for my boyfriend’s birthday and I didn’t even want to deal with this.
During the discussion I was shaking and almost in tears. So my boyfriend was the one to check us out. I was genuinely terrified of that woman and man. When my boyfriend check out the husband told him, “i’m sorry about my wife, she does this a lot.” Please don’t go there. They are very mean and the place is not clean or well taken care of at all. And please don’t bring small kids here it is not family...
Read moreI booked this hotel via AAA Travel it was least expensive at the time I was traveling Northern California with my daughter. When we arrived the lobby clerk looked terrified and had to unlock the glass lobby door to allow us entry. From there it just got worse. The room had large black soiled handprints on the walls. The toilet had tissue still in it and the bath had a small hole in it. There were holes in the walls where it looked like some sort of bar brawl or partner beatings had taken place. The dated chandelier had cobwebs in it. When we called the front desk to let them know the cable tv did not work they sent over a manager with a step stool to see if he could fix it. Since I had no intentions of actually sleeping under the covers of a filthy room at that point I advised the manager we could not stay in this room that we paid $180 a nite for. He said he understood and would allow the refund for the stay. We re-booked at the Sheraton one town over in Sonoma where we stayed the previous night for less than the $180 rate which was immaculate, comfortable and inviting to weary travelers. I received a $90. refund which was not what I expected after my conversation with the manager over the condition of our room. I opened a case with my bank to dispute the charge which was denied after review, due to the reservation contract. Very disappointed on all accounts. I would not ever recommend this establishment and am surprised they are able to stay in business and charge such a prime stay rate. It was a $30 night hotel at best. My only regret is I did not snap photos at the time as my daughter and I were so shocked and just wanted to get...
Read moreThe moment I pulled into the parking lot, I saw a shirtless man standing in his doorway with his belly hanging over his shorts—and I immediately had a bad feeling. I tried to stay open-minded, but things only got worse from there. I had two rooms booked. One had someone else’s belongings already inside, and the other had a non-working key. Thankfully, the front desk staff was polite and helpful, but that’s the only redeeming part of my experience. The room I ended up staying in was absolutely disgusting. Everything felt neglected: no fresh paint, beat-up furniture, and a broken interior door lock that made me feel unsafe. The air conditioning barely worked, and the bed didn’t even have a proper fitted sheet—just a comforter over a mattress pad. I actually searched for bugs because the room felt that dirty (thankfully didn’t find any, but I shouldn’t have had to look). Hoping a shower might improve things, I was hit with more issues. Mold lined the bathroom, patches on the walls were left unfinished, and there was hair in the tub. The water temperature jumped unpredictably—at one point it was so hot it felt like lava. I ended up settling for a cold shower just to be done with it. I’m writing this review counting down the hours until I can leave. Do not stay here. It’s not worth saving a few bucks to feel unsafe and uncomfortable the...
