Awful place. If you stay in a hotel for more than 30 days then as many as 90 days different taxes are supposed to be deducted and refunded from your rent bc it's exactly that it's rent and you become a resident in any place such as a hotel, air b and b, motel, weekly apartments, etc. The office never even offered us a receipt during the 90+ days myself and my family unfortunately were kinda forced to stay there. We were beyond overcharged for our stay there. Every weekday we were charged no less than $90 to $100 dollars a day and the weekend the nights would hit around $120 for the stay. The place is so disgusting it needs to be condemned. The first Night we stayed there my fiance and I got a room on the top floor on the pool side and we had to pay for the weekend as far as price plus we were charged an additional $20 dollars for a deposit we were told we would receive at checkout time. Online it has advertised multiple different times that breakfast was available which was beyond a lie. The office would sell canned cokes and had some snacks I believe most hotels would give their customers as a free snack but they charged behind some plexi glass insane prices I believe it was like 1.50 for a canned coke because there was absolutely no vending machines onsite and the ice machines were actually behind a locked door that didn't respond to a key most of the time I tried to get ice. We were never ever not once refunded any deposits we were forced to pay during our 90 plus day stay as I said before we were promised but never received a single cent back in our deposit when we checked out. In addition the first night we stayed we were only stuck there because we drove to this location with intentions to go shopping at all the thrift stores in the vicinity of this hotel but our car died in the parking lot of the thrift store that was next door to this hotel. My fiance usually fixes our vehicles and I know quite a bit myself about vehicles but this particular time my fiance has accidentally triggered the security system and caused our GMC Yukon to have to be reprogrammed well the computer and the security system which entails reprograming keys and chips for the vehicle but it took us this 90 plus days to figure out that was the issue with the vehicle and pretty much we were forced to stay there bc of the cost of tow and repairs literally cost too much for us to pay for so we continued to stay meanwhile this hotel treated us like insects in my opinion and were extremely arrogant and the exact opposite of helpful. My mother in laws vehicle had died and needed a jump start and bc I imagine most people with sense stay anywhere but here the night we needed a jump it was completely empty in the parking lot so my fiance had to get to work downtown where he is employed and works 3rd shift. I politely went to the office and asked if anyone was there that could possibly offer us a jumpstart. I informed them I had jumper cables and that it was extremely important bc the individual that pays our rent has to get to work so we could continue to be able to pay our rent and the man in the office was so rude and looked at me as if I was beneath him and said nobody has anything here to do that with. I'm not sure if he was saying that because all the owners have multiple brand new Tesla's which they have plugs for to charge at the hotel but there was two other vehicles that belonged to workers and parked at the office that were not Tesla's and I'm pretty sure would easily been able to help and I even offered money to them if they could help us out and no they just once again looked at me as I was an insect like how dare these people that are beneath me ask for help. I know it's not a requirement but my mother in law is in poor health and was given 3 months to live 2 years ago and she was staying with us and very ill and we were a quiet family that kept to ourselves but not once did anyone ever offer housekeeping or when we talked to them about dropping taxes they lied and never once offered us a receipt for our...
Read moreMy experience of this hotel did not impress. To be clear, it was not really anything that negatively impacted health or safety, and the price was downright cheap. So, rather than one star (not impressed at all), I'm going with three (very inexpensive, decent location, but not impressed at all).
The issues: Bathroom door is broken (a hole was punched in it). Toilet has a slow leak, so the tank has to top up once every few minutes, day and night. The (non-smoking) room smells like stale cigarette smoke. The window shades have missing hooks, so light gets in above the curtain. The tub is has stains (or perhaps burn marks) on the edge. The room phone doesn't work (no dial tone). Breakfast is closed, but there is no indication of such other than it not being open in the mornings. Soundproofing is minimal, so I heard the kids on one side and someone watching TV on the other side and the sound of planes taking off. There's no "do not disturb" sign or way to indicate that maid service is not needed (and housekeeping begins their rounds at 8am).
Additional observations about the location: It's within walking distance of many decent restaurant options, fast food and sit down. However, that "walking distance" involves walking on the side of a busy road since sidewalks in the area are woefully incomplete, often dead-ending into grass. It's right by the airport (see #8 above re: plane noise) and on a major-ish (for Nashville) bus line. The airport is mere minutes away by car, and downtown is not fast but very easy by bus. However, getting to the airport by bus involves going many miles out of the way into downtown on a...
Read moreI had booked a reservation for this hotel through Hotels.com. The reservation was for 1 night on Saturday September 4th through Sunday September 5th. We arrived at the hotel after our flight, Lyft receipts show we were dropped off at the hotel at 11:32 PM. When we tried to check in the hotel stated that the reservation hadn't gone through. We spent two hours trying to get this resolved with no luck so we ended up having to stay at a different hotel. I have Lyft receipts confirming we were picked up at 12:33 AM and brought to the next hotel at 12:44 AM. Immediately the next day I tried contacting hotels.com to get a refund for the room since we weren't able to stay at due to them not having the reservation. After numerous conversations with hotels.com over the last several months they finally confirmed today (12/19/21) that they had heard back from this hotel and the hotel said that the reservation was valid and that we didn't show up to use it. As described above, I have receipts showing we were at the property for 2 hours trying to get this resolved (between talking to the front desk and trying to get ahold of hotels.com). This hotel is lying through their teeth stating that they had the reservation available and that we just never showed up (since we have proof we were there). Also while spending two hours in the parking lot we notice a cockroach fall from the balcony, drug use, and overall "do not stay here" vibes. Also a warning to all future customers that it seems like this hotel is running a bait and switch (book online for a lower price and then they say they don't have a reservation and try to...
