Very rude lady!!
I walked in trying to get a to-go order and I’m bilingual, so I told her in Spanish, and she replied in English, so I told her again in Spanish, and she replied in English…. “ her English was poor, that’s why I kept trying to speak to her in Spanish “
I guess she got mad and gave me an ugly face….
Then I asked her what came with the octopus and she rolled her eyes and said…
“Whatever is in the picture “
So I ordered a soup, it was 12:45, at around 1:10 I saw my soup on the counter ready to go, it juts needed to be bagged, but the lady would not bag it, I waited till 1:20, and they would still not bag it, after waiting almost an hour.. I left….
Very dirty place, it smells bad, there was literally trash all over the flooor.
I guess it was a blessing I didn’t get my food!
Read moreFolks, this is NOT TexMex! It's a cute, quaint little place facing Harding Place. My son came here on a whim yesterday and ordered tacos for pick up. He liked them so much that he brought me here tonight. We ordered 2 different things - he got a plate of sauteed/grilled shrimp in the shell. I ordered steak fajitas. See the picture of the plates above it to see HOW VERY large the platters were. The flavors were special...not TexMex at all.... All piping hot and yummy. Neither platters were spicy hot, but obviously had lots of spices. My son is a big guy and had trouble finishing. I didn't finish all of mine. He said last night there was a Mariachi band, this night is live music with with a singer where you can hear the patrons singing along with him. They said later this evening there would be karaoke. Generally speaking, this has been a fun place to eat, and lots of fun to listen to music! I...
Read moreOriginally we were going to eat next door (chicago style gyros) but saw that the place was renovated and named differently so we decided to give it a chance. The inside was full so we sat outside, our host was nice she came out within two minutes. I ordered mojarra frita and the hubby ordered aguachiles and tostadas de ceviche de pescado,my child had the nuggets with fries. The horchata water was really good and the pińa water was also very good. We ordered cheese dip,a little spicy but it was good. My mojarra was big, fried to perfection. The aguachiles were not that spicy and really good, the tostadas were also good. Everything was delicious, they had karaoke and theirs security as well. If you’re going to eat outside note that they only have a fan and you will be hot and maybe sweating. Overall we had a very nice dinner and would definitely...
