Title: A Fantastic Stay at a Clean and Updated Hotel
Rating: (5/5)
I recently had the pleasure of staying at this wonderful hotel, and I must say it was an absolutely fantastic experience from start to finish. From the moment I walked through the doors, I was greeted with warmth and hospitality that set the tone for my entire stay.
First and foremost, the cleanliness and modernity of this hotel are truly impressive. The lobby is sleek and inviting, and it immediately gives off a sense of luxury. The attention to detail is evident throughout, from the stylish decor to the spotless floors and surfaces. It's clear that the management takes great pride in maintaining a pristine environment for their guests.
The room I stayed in was a true delight. It was not only impeccably clean but also beautifully updated. The modern furnishings and tasteful decor created a comfortable and welcoming atmosphere. The bed was exceptionally comfortable, ensuring a restful night's sleep after a day of exploring the area. The bathroom was equally impressive, with a spacious shower and plenty of amenities to make my stay more enjoyable.
One of the standout aspects of my visit was the hotel staff. From the front desk to the housekeeping team, everyone I encountered was exceptionally friendly and helpful. They went out of their way to ensure that my needs were met and that I felt like a valued guest. It's evident that the staff takes great pride in providing top-notch customer service.
The location of the hotel was also ideal, conveniently situated near various attractions and dining options. Whether you're in town for business or leisure, this hotel's central location makes it a great choice.
In conclusion, I cannot recommend this hotel highly enough. If you're looking for a clean, updated, and welcoming place to stay, this is the place to be. The combination of friendly staff, modern amenities, and a spotless environment made my stay truly memorable. I look forward to returning in the future and experiencing this exceptional...
Read moreCheck-in went smoothly and the clerk was friendly. We arrived at 4 and there were already 7 small kids screaming and crying in the pool. My daughter hoped to swim but these loud children and their two mothers and some guy that came and went stayed the entire time. The pool closed at ten. After this group left there was trash in the pool, green water that smelled, and overflowing trash cans.
Next, the room didn’t seem to have been cleaned before we arrived, there was dried baby food and a pouch of applesauce baby food on the floor right beside the bed.
We live in town and our air conditioning had gone out so we thought it’d be nice to just drive up the road and still have easy access to things we might need so we chose this location. After leaving and coming back there were no spaces left in the parking lot, several trucks taking up 3-5 spaces, a bike rack bolted down taking up one space, and two cars that parked over the line. I ended up having to park beside a curb. I’m hoping my car is still there in the morning as there’s a sign that said towing enforced and lock your vehicles because Holiday Inn is not responsible for vehicle theft, the belongings, or towing if said vehicle.
Finally, the website stated full breakfast and there is only cereal available as the notice posted at check in of the types of cereal offered. There’s no reason a full breakfast could not continue as restaurants here are open and dine-in is limited to 50% capacity.
Very disappointed with my stay, and while it was much cooler in our room than at home, I question if I should have just stayed at home and saved the money because I will not be returning to this Holiday Inn.
So in summary my main concerns:
1)Pool that appears and smells as if it had been urinated in. 2) Dried food on carpet and half used baby food container on the floor beside the bed. 3) Absolutely not enough parking spaces for this size Inn. 4) False advertising of full breakfast
I took pictures of all this shoukd anyone...
Read moreAfter 2 full days of traveling from Florida, we were dreading driving through rush hour traffic around Memphis and upon seeing Holiday Inn Express (HIE) we decided to call it day and stop. We had picked up a Mississippi coupon book at the state line and were thrilled to see that HIE participated. We checked in. At the front desk, Tisha signed my husband up for Priority Pass. We hadn't taken any long trips in years as we had been busy with family but now we able to do some long distance traveling and we have always enjoyed staying at HIE. We unloaded our vehicle and since it was still early my husband tuned in to see HNN while I'm sitting on the bed connecting all our devices to the complimentary Wifi and Internet. He noticed that the TV reception was very poor and walked up to the front desk. Tisha quickly came to the room and tried to remedy the problem to no avail. In minutes my husband returned to the room and said, "Follow me," which is what I did. We both grabbed luggage and walked a few steps down the hall and entered one of HIE suites. If you haven't had that experience, it is a must. Living room with TV and small kitchen and fridge, small dining table in one room, then a huge bath with separate grooming areas, then the bedroom. NICE! I mean REALLY NICE! Tisha's sense of urgency, attention to detail and customer focus spoke volumes about HIE. She managed to take what could have been a stressful changing of rooms, as we have experienced that before AFTER unpacking, and her quick decision making made this move effortless since it was only steps away. We had spent a very uncomfortable night in Dotham the night before at one of HIE’s competitors and this was such a welcome change. It felt like we were home. By the way, this is one of the nicest interior decorated hotels that we've stayed in. Exceedingly nice for a great price. You can't go wrong. And, I didn't even mention the great cookies and coffee 24/7 or the...
