Reasons for a #1: 1. The address in google maps don't match with the address in the website. Similar but different. 2. The receptionist is nice! But I asked for a 5am airport dropoff. Got to the lobby at 4:50am and we were not in the list and the schedule was full till after 6ish-am. I chose this hotel as it was 4 minutes from JFK and it had airport transportation. Not only did the facilities lack transportation, they forgot to add me in the list. 3. I was at the ground floor of the hotel and facing the street and next to the main entrance to the hotel. I checked in after 10pm. I kept hearing must which I hated from the outside. I thought it was either the homeless or a party in a room or from across the street from a car. I barely slept! Tired as I haven't slept in the 36 hours. I go outside and see it's a load hotel speaker playing music. I couldn't believe it. 4. When you go to the hotel, you can't drive in so you can drop off your luggage. It's blocked with an automatic parking system. You have to carry your luggage 75-125 feet to the main door way. Only one ramp from the street and it's on the opposite side of the building so it's a pain walking to the ramp with a slope to get there. Otherwise, you have to carry the luggage. I had boxes of odd shapes and 3 luggages for 2 people. There was not even a cart available that night! This place was the worse!

For the price they ask for a room, the quality you get in return is not good. The service and attitude of the lady at the check in was very cold and unwelcoming, if you are working at the check in of a hotel there’s normally a basic level of friendliness that is required. The bed was comfortable, however the room would not heat up above 63F. The bathroom was large, however there was no space to place any toiletries. The shower head was attached to the wall with rubber elastic ties, which is unacceptable for a hotel of this standard. I paid 180 euros for one night, this should be better. Try one of the neighboring hotels which are slightly more expensive but must be better than this. Also there are no restaurants or shops around the hotel, everything must be done with an Uber. Proximity to the airport is helpful, and the breakfast is decent for an American hotel.

After reaching out to the General Manager about the experience I had at the hotel, I did not expect to place a negative review. Unfortunately, I now have to, as it is now a matter of principle. On October 3rd. I sent an email about my experience. Read a portion of my email.|ā€œ I am sending this email about my stay in the hotel- called ā€œComfortā€ Inn. Which at 4:00 am I did not find at all a comfort. The street noise was unlike anything I had ever heard in a hotel! My room shook and the trucks were non-stop. Needless, to say I’ve been awake since 4:00 am due to this horrible noise! As you can read you can see I’m not a happy guest. What’s even more upsetting is that I came down to the reception area to hopefully speak with a manager. There was none. Instead, I met with your front desk receptionist, Cassandra. After telling her about my experience. All she could say was ā€œI didn’t put you in that roomā€ and Ā ā€œyour room is next to the sanitation facilityā€. Even after making these statements she offered no sentiment or apologies for the sound. Frankly, she didn’t care, and it was quite obvious. Another one of your guests heard her as well and was quite surprised. I’d like to suggest you do not place your guests in that room (#204). I would also like to suggest you train your front desk staff to show more understanding and offer better customer service- as she clearly did not have it. Mr. Anup, I spent over $200 to stay in the hotel for ā€œcomfortā€, I did not receive it.ā€ | I received a response from ā€œMr. Anupā€ and the following was stated in an email dated on 10/4,|ā€œIn an effort to make amends for the inconvenience caused, I would like to offer you a 25% discount on the charges for your recent stay. This discount will be issued to your credit card as a gesture of our sincere apology.ā€|As of October 19th, I have yet to receive any credit or a response from my last follow up, 10/11.|It is clear to me that the concern of their guests is null and void.|AVOID THIS HOTEL, guests are only bodies to fill a room but...

I read on the hotel site that we could call for a shuttle bus on arrival at JFK, so we took the AirTrain to Federal Circle and easily found the free phones in the station lobby to call the hotels in the area. I called Comfort Inn JFK and was put on hold... for a very long time!! I gave up after a while and called the hotel number on my cell phone instead. Still got the hold music. I tried several times, and was on hold for quite a long time to no avail. After about 20 minutes of waiting I finally made contact with the hotel and after about another 20 minutes the shuttle turned up. On arrival at the hotel, I asked about the shuttle back to the airport in the morning and was told that the 5:00am was already fully booked and that they only run once per hour!! This is ridiculous since the round trip to the Federal Circle drop-off easily less than 20 minutes. It could reliably run on a 20 minute or at worst 30 minute cycle. The shuttle situation was very frustrating and meant that we had to use an Uber in the morning to get to the airport.||The room itself was quite modern and fresh but VERY SMALL for a US hotel room! For a one-night stay it was not a big problem, but when I was sitting at the desk working, my wife was not able to pass between the chair and the bed. The bathroom was very much one-at-a-time. The bed was comfortable and cleanliness was good. ||Wifi was a problem - the code given to us at check-in didn't seem to work and every time we tried to log in through the sign-in page it cycled right back to the same page, rejecting the code. I tried calling the front desk but... no response! Service seems to be a huge weakness at this hotel. Not wanting to get dressed and walk downstairs, I just used a hotspot on my phone.||So overall, not much about this experience endeared me to the hotel, and the poor frequency of the shuttle is a deal-breaker. I will not be...
