Wow. Where to begin. Check in was great. Front desk was super nice. First night no issues. We were staying 2 nights. When we were leaving for the day I informed the front desk that I did not want housekeeping services. She said to just put up my Do Not Disturb sign. I did. We came back to the hotel around 3. Our door to our room was wide open with 2 random men using some sort of vacuum. They were not hotel employees. There were NO hotel employees in my room at their time. Just these random men. I went to the front desk. They informed me that there should have been a letter in my room explaining that the AC vents were going to be cleaned. Nope. No letter. Just some random men and my room door wide open. I asked for another room. Was not feeling super secure at this point. I was given a new room and once again instructed that there should have been a letter. Once again. No letter. I go to my old room to pack it up and the same 2 men still hanging around in the room across the hall. They literally tell me that I need to not make this into such a big f’ing issue. Seriously. Back to the manager. Inform him of this verbal assault. He asks them. They say it never happened. Literally living in the twilight zone now. In the new room now. Find the letter. It states there will be AC vent cleaning and if a room is occupied then a hotel staff member will be with the random men. Once again. No staff member was in my room while the cleaning was taking place. While my door was wide open with all of my belongings out for anyone who walked by. I have been comped my room for tonight here by the manger who did apologize for the total cluster of events. But please-be aware. I paid for a safe and secure room. For a private hotel room. For common courtesy. I received none of that. We typically only stay at Drury Inns. We have never had issues like these before. Back to Drury....
Read moreThis site is quite acceptable neat and tidy (I personally don't like the colour scheme its not relaxing but its a place to sleep). Check In was good the lady was exceptionally nice and considerate also said hi and asked how things were when I was on my way out which I haven't had before. Fire Alarm went off next morning but was a false alarm, one guest had a 2 page list of complaints I suspect that he was trying to get something for nothing over really trivial items incl the fire alarm ?? some people it happened at 1030am. Room rate is ok for what you get (Im not a fan of all the taxes imposed in the US on hotel rooms but not the hotels fault)....Bathroom was functional and did the job its probably will need some TLC soon though. Internet is what you would expect from any hotel. My main concern is the billing side of things Im currently unsure who is at fault here be it the Hotel or the bank so Ive chosen to remain neutral until it posts but its about $30-40 more than it should be (Hope when it posts it will correct it) and yes the exchange is taken into consideration the error is still there. Location is ok close to Texas Roadhouse, McDonalds, Gas Station and other eatery. Noise wise really was a non event you aren't right on the road so there is a little buffer. Issues were minor and just little thing there were inconsiderate guests one above and across the hall which happens everywhere I did not make an issue because the guys at the hotel aren't responsible other guests need to realise Im paying like others to enjoy the hotel in peace YOU NEED TO CONTROL YOUR HORRIBLE CHILDREN !!!!! not the hotel staff. I would stay there again if the rate was right I would not pay more for this hotel than $100 per night.

Read moreThis has to be the worst marriot property I have ever stayed at and i spend almost half of time in marriot hotels. Marriot International should kick this franchise to the curb. The hotel is in the middle of a renovation and it barley tells you that before booking. With the renovation half of the parking lot is shut down leaving very little parking for the hotel and forcing you to park in a lot not connected to the hotel. I was placed in a "renovated"room and to call the room renovated is an insult to actual renovations. There is nothing more done than minor face lift with new carpet furniture and shower. The tile in the bathroom is old and very outdated . In addition to the rook being uloutdated and the parking situation there was cleanness issues with the room as well. The furniture is scratched, and the door in the bathroom would not close. For around $100 a night this hotel should a ashamed. This hotel is not at all up to the standards I have to expect from marriot and is more line with the standards of a motel 8 or...
