Rolls By The Pound - Coffee and Treats — Restaurant in Ohio

Updated: I just wanted to give an update on my review. I wrote this about a year ago. Not truly knowing just how great of a business this is. When you walk in, or pull around to their drive thru, you are welcomed by a family. You will leave feeling like you are apart of that family, it’s genuine, it’s more than coffee and food. The items on the menu are just bonuses to what you take from your experience. I decided to take a new job out of town and to say leaving this place didn’t come into consideration with my decision would be a lie. Everyone knows the food/coffee is amazing! But you all need to know what you are getting into when you become a customer. Just an absolute blessing to of come to know them. Thank you ♥️

It was ok. Service was great and the place was clean. I've heard a lot of good things about this place was excited to try it, but honestly, I was underwhelmed. We had a cinnamon roll, a long john, and a flavored coffee drink. The coffee was mostly syrup. It tasted like it was made for people who like a little coffee in their cream and sugar, rather than a little cream in sugar in their coffee. I could not actually taste any coffee. The roll and long john were both dry. I like my cinnamon rolls really ooey and gooey with cinnamon sugar filling, and these just did not have that. The texture was more like a dinner roll than a nice, dense cinnamon roll. The staff was really friendly, however, and I would try it again to sample some of the other goodies and regular coffee (no syrup this time). A lot of people seem to love the rolls, which is why we went, but they just didn't do...

My first visit to this little shop was actually during their closed hours but in looking up the hours for the store I found a Facebook post that stated they were having a flash sale that evening. I was unable to go inside because the door was locked but a guy came to the door and said he was the only one there and asked us to use their drive thru. He was very nice about and told us how to get to the drive thru since it wasn't obvious that they even had one. Once we got to the speaker to order we told him we had never been there before. So he told us a little bit about the business and the flash sale. At the pickup window he chatted a little more with us. He was very friendly and helpful. The food we got was glazed donuts and cinnamon rolls. They were HUGE! And very good. I will definitely be making a stop...
