Stopped in to get dinner for my grandson & I. I haven't had Subway for a long time but used to get it quite often. I've always gotten the steak sub, but now they've changed up the menu and added more expensive sandwiches. I just ordered the 'old' steak & cheese sub, mainly because it was cheaper and I thought I was getting the same sandwich I'd always gotten. I should have been paying more attention to her making my sub & told her to add more veggies, my bad. But I was talking to my grandson to see what he wanted. Long story short, my grandson loved his meatball sub, but I was really disappointed in mine. It just wasn't as good as I remember them being š at all!! The newer Steak melt sub looked more like what I used to get (on the sign anyway) and is what I should have gotten apparently. I'll try that the next time, but if that one is as disappointing as this last one was I won't be doing Subway any more! Seems like Subway is just trying to find a way to charge people more money!! p.s. The 2 people working in there were great though! The girl that made our sandwiches and a guy that was perhaps working in the back kitchen who had come out to the front. They were very friendly and helpful!! On my last visit (10/8/2023), I ordered a 6" sub and received three single slices of meat, spread across the width of the sandwich. I thought it might be an anomaly but, each member of my party received the same amount on their sandwiches as well. The establishment also had posted a sign that stated that they no longer accept coupons. I realize that times are tough at the time of this review. That is why I willingly accept the price increase. But when you THEN cut the main ingredient to the base minimum amount, I can only interpret this as an attempt to swindle anyone who is unlucky enough to walk through the door. She has no customer skills, obviously to act that way towards me or any customer with children. Anybody who has toddlers knows they can be a handful when this happens.
