I really recommend Ganiyat Africa hair enough! From start to finish, my experience was absolutely amazing. The professionalism, patience, and attention to detail are unmatched. She took the time to listen to exactly what I wanted, gave suggestions based on my hair type, and made sure I was comfortable the entire time.

Her braiding skills are on another level, the parts are clean, the braids are neat, and the style looks flawless. What I really appreciate is how gentle she was; my scalp didn’t feel sore or pulled too tight, and I could tell she genuinely cares about the health of my natural hair as much as the style itself.

The women in this braiding salon are so nice. This is the first African braiding salon I’ve been to where I can genuinely say I felt comfortable enough. They had a few regulars come in with high spirits which proves how warm welcoming it is. I was even offered a piece of ferrero rocher chocolates, which is one of my favorites. I got butt-length jumbo knotless braids with the curly hair. I do think they are expensive which throws me off and my reason for deducting a star and because the curly hair they put in my hair only took one day before it got matted and I had to start...

Highly recommend this shop, as someone with a different hair texture I am hesitant to allow anyone braid it. It’s long and “silky” but fragile. I believe it was the owner herself who took care of me and was so gentle with my hair. There was some tension because it is braids but not a single sore spot after walking out. All the other styles I saw being done looked super crisp (the parts) and neat.
