Erik was very nice and easy to deal with. Would recommend you stop in. This initial review/comment was left when the order was placed and I left the store pleased. Being it was a floor sample, when I presented my credit card at time of order, they said no; would not take a credit card, had to come back with cash or check. OK margins were tight and would have been +-$100 fee on a $3,700 order, store did not want to absorb that, fine. Left the store with a signed receipt detailing the order etc. Typical name address, phone #s, invoice with specific detailing of the two pieces we were buying all priced out with delivery fee, sales tax etc and a bottom line due, Returned with a check three days later to find the store floor sample was sold. WOW, and the invoice never made it to the system. WOW again, no apologies on their part or lets see what we can do here. Why they did not put some $$$ on the credit card, just to hold it, and check or cash soon thereafter, do not know. Every reputable furniture store takes credit cards for some of the order. To put $250 (picking a random #, as I was ready to place the entire order on the visa card) on the card to hold the order would cost the store under $10 in credit card fees. The fact that I had a signed receipt meant nothing when I returned 72 hours later. A giant tough luck. The consumer certainly acted in good faith here, the retailer...not so...

I had a wonderful experience with Creative Furniture. I am moving to NJ from out of state with little notice so I needed quality furniture asap. My dad and I visited the store and browsed for a bit and saw some beautiful pieces where we instantly came up with ideas to furnish my apartment. Keta found us and I gave her the floor plan of my apartment, told her my budget and what style/color scheme I was looking for. She walked us around the store and selected items that were all a perfect fit with her interior designing knowledge. She also space planned all of the pieces so we would not have to rearrange too much when time comes to move in. I'm very excited to move and settle into my new apartment. I am in the process of furnishing my home and walked into many furniture stores over the past several weeks. This process was initially very stressful for me until I walked into Creative Furniture at North Plainfield. The furniture is beautiful and I had the pleasure of working with Vladimir. Vladimir is very personable, knowledgeable and most importantly, very easy to work with. His knowledge made my furniture selection stress free and helped guide me along my furniture selection process as far as style, colors and ideas in general.
