My wife and I had an opportunity to stay recently at the Oak Bluffs Inn for our wedding anniversary. We both had a wonderful time and would definitely return. ||The inn's website was easy to navigate, and the short video clips of the rooms were very helpful in preparing us for our arrival. ||A day or two before our arrival, Erik Albert, one of the owners (along with his wife, Rhonda), reached out to me to verify when my wife and I would arrive at the inn. He was also able to recommend a great florist so that I could score some extra anniversary points with my wife. I was able to order the roses; they were delivered to the inn, and Erik ensured they were placed inside our room.||Before arrival, Erik also did some extra selling and upgraded (for a fee) to the penthouse room. It was a great addition to our accommodations. The penthouse had a nice balcony for us to sit out and enjoy the morning, afternoon, or evening. It felt like we were at home; the environment was very comfortable. Amenities and snacks were helpful as well.||Erik and Rhonda provided continental breakfast in the morning and fresh-baked chocolate chip cookies and lemonade in the late afternoon. The cookies were great!||They provided beach towels for use at the beach, bike rentals, and a huge front porch with rocking chairs to sit in. ||We have already told friends and family about our trip to Martha's Vineyard and our stay at the Oak Bluffs Inn. It was a romantically memorable experience, and we look forward to returning...

My wife and I had a wonderful extended weekend stay at The Oak Bluffs Inn. Rhonda and Erik Albert were gracious hosts, making our vacation at the inn and Martha’s Vineyard one to remember. Our room on the first floor was quite comfortable, and the morning sun coming through the window promised a pleasant day on the island. Erik started our morning with a nice, hearty breakfast of eggs and toast, homemade lemonade, and freshly squeezed orange juice prepared in his kitchen. Rhonda has landscaped the property with native plants, creating a pleasant environment, especially the backyard garden nook, where we could read and enjoy our morning coffee and tea (Mighty Leaf Tea Organic African Nectar, which I subsequently ordered a box of from Amazon). She is also knowledgeable and eager to share the island attractions that we were keen to visit. A notable feature of the inn is the wrap-around porch on the front and side of the inn. Outfitted with white rocking wicker chairs, it serves as a gathering place to meet other guests and savor Erik’s home-baked chocolate chip cookies. If and when we decide to return to the island, we will book our room at The...

Lovely innkeepers make you feel right at home at this centrally-located bed and breakfast on Circuit Avenue in Oak Bluffs on Martha's Vineyard. Our room was clean, with comfy beds. When we had an issue with the a/c, the innkeepers helped us out. Welcoming to all sorts of travelers, from small families with babies to singles and couples, this inn is unpretentious, with its wide porch with rocking chairs, library of books, port, sherry, afternoon lemonade and local magazines, guides and newspapers. The rooms have no TV or telephones, which weren't missed! A great place to unplug, with free WiFi, if you need it. You can walk easily to great places to eat and shop. The beach is a few blocks away. I would highly recommend and would return.

We had an amazing stay at the Oak Bluffs Inn! The location is perfect—walking distance to all the main spots in Martha’s Vineyard. Every morning started with fresh breakfast and coffee, and the afternoon cookies were absolutely delicious. Eric was a wonderful host—we truly enjoyed our porch conversations with him. The housekeeping staff was also so kind and pleasant. The Inn itself is charming and full of character; I felt right at home from the moment we arrived. I’ll truly miss this place and can’t wait to return. A must-stay if you’re visiting MV!

Wow. Where do I start. Erik and the Oak Bluffs Inn our magical. As a pilot I literally live in hotels, motels and Bed and Breakfasts. The OBI in MV is truly one of a kind but it’s not because of the building (which is FULL of history). It’s one of a kind because of the service that Erik provides to the guests. He feels like an uncle I never had. I’m already back again and writing this review from the porch with a cup of warm coffee. If your coming to MV you truly aren’t COMING unless you’ve booked a room at OBI.
