Dos Mas — Restaurant in Oak Bluffs

Above average food. Pretty good tacos that I would eat again but I’d order takeout. Sad to say that the service was poor. The kitchen staff seemed to work very hard and rightly fully so with some good food coming out. The bartender was leaning on the bar talking to folks when we came in and continued to do so for a while before coming over. When we were ready to order he disappeared then when we got our food never checks back in. Also never checked in when our drinks got low. Maybe we would have stayed for another round but certainly not when we waited to long and were ready to leave. I know this isn’t fine dining and part of what makes a taco place great is it’s laid back. And I have been in the service industry so I understand when you are busy. But this was not the case. We just had chicken chimichanga and z's chicken burger with extra fries. They gave no pickles although the menu showed it should come with the burger set we ordered.

Quite bland and, dry textures in all. Even the weird flour chips that came with Chimichanga had no flavor. Not corn chip either. Not enough seasoning.

Chimichanga tasted like "fried version" of a chicken Salad wrap. Weird creme inside. Just odd. Definitely not Mexican. No beans or tomatos!

The server (young lanky male) was really lame, and, would not process our check. We saw the kitchen staff of "one" when there were 13-15 guests. The kitchen operation should be transformed dramatically.

Just bad for foods.

Came in at around 1pm on a Tuesday in August. Maybe 5 other patrons in the restaurant at the time. Took about 10 minutes to have someone come to collect orders and she had to come back several times to clarify items. It was also noticeable that they were struggling with the orders on the tablet.

Drinks took about another 10 minutes to come out. Mind you, there are pretty much no other open orders holding them up at this point. Food took about 50 minutes to get to the table from when we arrived.

Food itself was extremely mediocre at best and several orders were wrong in minor ways (to no one’s surprise based off the very visible struggles).

Take the extra time and put your name in at a more consistent restaurant in town - you’ll probably still get your food quicker and it will...
