This spot is located nearby the Oaks Bluffs ferry terminal. We were greeted as soon as we got inside with a welcoming smile. It looked like a huge cabin by the water, with lots of wooden boats hanging from the ceiling. Warm and cozy atmosphere, great spot to relax. We got complimentary peanuts, and you can toss the peanut shells on the floor! We were not very hungry, as we have been eating our way through Martha’s Vineyard... We were just looking to get some beer and a snack. We got Parmesan Truffle Fries for snack, which was GREAT! We couldn’t stop eating them! For drink, we got flight of beer. It is not on the menu, but if you ask, they will provide them! The flight comes with four beers of your choice. We went with East Chop, Blueberry, Argus, and Stout. Each beer was really tasty, some unique, some fruity, but all great! We had a really nice, relaxing time here with delicious snack and drinks. Exactly what we wanted before getting onto the ferry. The service was friendly and welcoming. We enjoyed our time here. I am sure we will be back during our next trip top Martha’s Vineyard!

Our party of five shared a few dishes tonight and were very pleased. We were seated outside on the patio. It was a bit narrow but the tables were decently spaced. Our waitress was very friendly and the food came in a timely manner. We ordered a Hawaiian pizza and a cheese, a Greek salad, Bavarian pretzel and the grilled Brie (which gets five stars!) The pizza had a very thin crust but held up and didn’t fold when picked up. The cheese/sauce/crust ratio was perfect with a very flavorful cheese blend (definite Parmesan tones). The Hawaiian had a nice sweet/smoky taste. The pretzel was what you would expect -maybe a bit small to share for more than 2-3 people. The Greek salad was very good and not overly dressed. The grilled Brie was the star -covered in pesto with tons of buttery roasted garlic cloves to eat on the soft baguette. Overall a solid choice. It has an older establishment feel the nostalgic decor was pub-typical. Everyone said they would return.

While staying on Martha's vineyard we obviously had to check out this brewery since it was right up the street from our hotel. We got there just as supper time was getting going but we're able to get a seat right away The staff was pleasant and accommodating and waited on us promptly. I ordered a sampler of their beers which are brewed on-site and they were all quite tasty. The décor and atmosphere feel rustic but comfortable and they serve typical American fare. Everything from the kitchen came out promptly and was cooked to temperature. There is both indoor and outdoor seating here we chose to sit indoors at one of the high tops but there are several tables, booths and bar seating. This is a very nice comfortable brewery and restaurant you won't go wrong stopping in here.

This place left my wife and I in awe....mazement. this was like being back home in Chicago with a vibe where everyone is just laughing and talking to each other like old pals. Definitely made everything taste better, especially the drinks 🤪. Martha's Vineyard is something special that we thought we'd never be able to experience let alone drinking with many of the locals. By far the best time just talking about how amazing this place is. Staff was amazing and made suggestions. The restrooms were clean and lots of old school signs and memorabilia. The whole bar is full of all sorts of fun interesting stuff. This place is an absolute 💯 must. I highly recommend checking this place out. We plan on going back real soon and this place is a big reason why. CHEERS

Summary: EAT THE CLAM CHOWDER. JUST. EAT. IT. The chowder is the absolute greatest ever. Hands down. No questions asked. Even if you don't like beer, if you're in Martha's Vinyard, find your way here and eat some clam chowder. So the beer is good, yeah. New England is a massive bomb of craft beer, so while Offshore Ale isn't THE BEST BREWERY EVER, their beer is good. They usually have 8-10 beers tapped at the same time. They do offer beer flights of 4 if you want to try a bit of everything. The atmosphere is really cool, they have extremely high ceilings with natural wood everywhere and big glass windows inside that let you see into the actual brewery. There's about 10-12 bar seats plus table service throughout.

Offshore Ale Co. on Martha’s Vineyard is an absolute gem! Bella and I decided to grab a quick drink to charge my phone and use the WiFi since I had no service on the island. We were blown away by the warm and welcoming atmosphere—it’s the place that immediately feels comfortable. But the real highlight? The espresso martini. Without a doubt, it is the best we’ve ever had! It was perfectly balanced, rich, and smooth—a true masterpiece. The service was top-notch, attentive without intrusive, and added to the overall great experience. Offshore Ale Co. is a must-visit if you’re on Martha’s Vineyard. Whether you’re looking for a place to unwind or need a quick pit stop, this place has you covered. Highly recommend!
