Budget Inn — Hotel in Oklahoma City

BED BUGS, DO NOT STAY HERE. I literally just packed up all my belongings and now am at the 24 hour laundry mat washing everything I had in that room HOPING that I don't bring any home with me. The hotel staff are aware that their rooms are INFESTED with bedbugs, as soon as I called the front desk about the bugs she didn't question me just immediately said she would give me my money for the night back. They also had the bed covered with mattress pads, and the box spring was covered with a pad like material.(not a bedbug proof encasement). As soon I lifted up the cover on the box spring and mattress I saw the bugs immediately. When I got my refund, they refused to give me the money back for the previous night I spent in the same room, stating that I didn't complain the day before, as if the problem had just sprung up the next day and was already a full blown infestation. How can I complain about a problem I didn't know was there? And threatening to call the police on me for explaining that I felt I was entitled to a full refund for both days I spent in the room was completely out of left field for me, but I was not at all opposed to the police coming, when I told her that she should call she didn't mention it again. Very unprofessional and disgusting. Don't just cover up the mattress and box spring, at least TRY and get rid of the issue instead of covering it up with...

If I could give zero stars I would. I checked into a room with 2 queen size beds. Got into the room and immediately start to check it out. I've worked at several hotels and motels and I have a standard to which I hold other establishments to. I started by turning down the sheets to check cleanliness. The sheets had hairs on them, as well as the pillows, in both beds. The sheets themselves had scuff marks of some kind like someone had had their shoes in the bed. The sink and mirror were dirty as well as the bathtub and toilet. The floors had stuff on them like they hadn't been vacuumed. I go to the office to request another room. We get the room next to ours and same thing except the heater didn't work in this one. At this point I'm just ready to lie down and relax. I have my 2 small children and husband with me. I go back to the office and request my money back and my husband had to go do it because the room was is his name. So I load up the kids while he deals with the office. He asked for our money back and the woman at the front desk tried to tell him they were charging us $5 because we turned down the sheets. Needless to say, I got my money back, they didn't get the $5 for their disgusting rooms, and I write this review while lying in a clean, comfortable, kid friendly Holiday Inn. So in short...

This motel's site reviews were generally accurate.....convenient location, Mom and Pop restaurant next door, handy to other food places....quite enough on the back side of facility, clean rooms and linen, plenty of hot water, easy parking, desk lady was OK and helpful with information, amenities as mentioned were available, but we did not partake of the breakfast offering, so can't comment on that. I rarely submit a review, with this being the exception.....with all the positive things I have written....they were out shadowed by the BED!!!! OMG......unless you like a hard bed, and I mean HARD, you will definitely want to make another choice....another reviewer made this comment and I thought .....hummmm, how bad could it be....we were exhausted in the morning after wrestling with the bed all night trying to get comfortable!!!! If you can sleep on the floor....go for it, but if you have old bones....a word to the wise.....also, the A/C worked well, but...
