We had an amazing two days at the Vintage Block Inn & Suites and are already looking at planning our getaway next year!
Check-in was absolutely a breeze. They were up front with quiet hours, pool hours, and breakfast availability. Any time I needed anything, whoever was at the front desk was super kind and accommodating. My kids drug me right to the pool. And then the super cool 4 people bicycles (in the 100 degree heat lol). And then they wanted to check out the yard games. Seriously - the little courtyard with bistro lights and fire pits is the cutest thing ever. We were too exhausted from running around all day to even enjoy any of it in the evening, but it was fun to look at!
Breakfast was exactly what I'd expect from a hotel breakfast. My kids were thrilled with the waffles. I had toast and cereal. I mean... free breakfast is always a huge plus in my book and I didn't even know it was offered when I booked! There are TONS of games in the hotel lobby. My kiddos would have been content playing for hours, but - alas, we were on a very limited time-budget and had other places to be.
Vintage Block Inn & Suites is within a five minute drive to Arnold's Park, the beach, a ton of places to eat, and a million gas stations.
The beds were super comfortable. The A/C was nice and cold. The room had a modern yet vintage vibe that was super cool. My teen loves the colorful mural on the back wall for photos.
This was my mom's 3rd stay here, and I see why she keeps coming back!! We will definitely be...

We discovered this at 11pm, so we made it work. ||At checkout, I told front desk employee who blew it off and just said, “thanks for letting me know”. Unsatisfied, I contacted trip.com with whom I made the reservation. After several weeks of going back and forth because they had no luck contacting the property owner, Misty, I was told they could only offer a refund of $36 which wasn’t enough. I decided to contact this Misty myself. She returned my call and left a voicemail stating she would not be doing anything further for me. I called back and spoke with a lady who wanted to know the whole story all over again. She told me I should have said something sooner and they would have cleaned the room. I told her the room should have been clean from the beginning!! After check in, we left right away to enjoy our day at the lake and didn’t get back until late. I didn’t realize that we needed to inspect the room for cleanliness. ||I wasn’t asking for a full refund, but certainly more than $36 or even a free night. They wanted to do nothing but argue and hang up the phone. Haven’t heard anything since. $186 for a dirty room with sand in the beds and someone else’s dirty hair pins on the uncleaned nightstand. The owner and staff are rudely dismissive and unhelpful and they’re selling dirty rooms....

Wife and I were visiting from Mankato, MN and planned to stay late and didn't want to drive back. This place had extremely easy check in and the employees were very nice and even recommended going to fireworks at night (we didn't even know about them). They also recommended great places to eat and enjoy. Pool area is very nice, you can play corn hole (or bags, depends on what you call it), they also have a 4 person bike you can ride around for free! Rooms are like a nice studio apartment and have a mini fridge, microwave, TV, desk, and coffee maker. Bathroom is like any other hotel bathroom and was very clean.
Only downside that I won't downrate for is the wifi didn't reach our room at all (room 40). It wasn't a big deal as we could use our unlimited 4G, but that was also a little slow in the area. However, if we went to the main office or middle area, the wifi...
