Studio 6 Pascagoula, MS — Hotel in Pascagoula

Grounds are inviting. Staff is efficient and friendly. My6 says rate was $12 less. It also says $10 pet deposit but it was $25. There were a lot of people loudly talking, laughing and yelling all around the place (pretty much all night). People roaming the parking lot and walkways all night, partying.||Opening the door, the room looks cute but that's where the good ends. The stench was like a physical blow and I'm not exaggerating. It smelled like someone threw 50 pine car fresheners on a year old, multi cat litter box. It was acrid and literally burned my nose. We complained and the answer was "that's just the cleaning products we use"...not that the room has seen a cleaning product in months, but I guess that's beside the point. The door lock was hanging loosely, the bathroom was flooded and the toilet paper roll was completely drenched. The bedding was filled with cigarette burns. We did get another room, though.||The smell was just as bad. The floor was beyond filthy. There were layers of dark yellow animal urine along one wall. The floor was sticky and grimy. I actually got a towel from the bathroom, wet it down and scrubbed the floor, myself (I really tried getting the towel clean but it was ruined). After two times through, I gave up and just wore my shoes.||The bed is bowed so it was like doing a back bend all night. The smell, noises and back pain woke me up all night. I feel more tired than when I went to bed.||I realize that I'm a pet owner (with very well-behaved, quiet, potty-trained dogs), so have to take what I can but come on. I've been in M6 pet rooms all over the country and never experienced anything like this nightmare. At least clean the...

Let me preface this review by saying the price here is very cheap, the front desk staff were always very nice and polite and the rooms were clean and remodeled. That said, the walls are so thin that you will hear literally EVERYthing the next room says and does. When their alarm goes off at 4AM and they don’t answer it for AN HOUR, you will hear it. When their trailer trash girlfriend smokes in the non-smoking room and talks on the phone for hours at a time into the wee hours, you’ll hear it(and smell it).||In other words, you’re gonna get what you pay for and if you want a restful night’s sleep, don’t go here. I also need to mention the noisy neighbors were brought up to four different front desk employees throughout the week we spent there and nothing got done. In addition, deficiencies in exterior lighting and the room itself (stove didn’t work) were brought up to the management and never got fixed. Did I mention the panhandlers in the parking lot, people walking their dogs in the courtyard and not picking up after them, and the sketchy people drinking their 40’s out front at 9am? Can’t forget those.||Best part was, when we went to check out a day early because we hadn’t slept in six nights, the desk staff refused to refund us the last day because we’d been given the weekly rate. Noble is the best. I even cooked and fixed him a plate. I couldn't throw down because no oven. But it worked. Pissed to the maxxxx. I woke up to red bumps and itching all over. Bed bugs it was on a Sunday and the office didn't open until 12pm. I wasn't staying that room.I saw another customer said something about bed bugs. I really want o go to we. I've never had that happen I dint like bugs and have a phobia. I left and ride around not from Mississippi to know where to go how dangerous was that. Went o er it was full so I waited then left .Finally complained to office got one night refund and switched my room.still wasn't pleased. I came from Pensacola we come down a lot and motel 6 on airport has stopped getting our business.out was horrible but reasonable.
