Western Motel Philadelphia — Hotel in Philadelphia

By far one of the best value hotels I've stayed at. The office manager was very quick with getting my online reservation pulled up and my room keys ready. When we walked inside, the first thing we noticed was the air conditioner had already been turned on and the room was quite comfortable. Normally the air conditioner is off when we arrive and we end up suffering for an hour or two until it finally cools down the hot room. ||It's a small detail but to me, it's a big plus for them. As for the room, they were very clean and the beds/pillows were exceptionally comfortable. There were plenty of outlets for me to charge my electronics and plenty of table/counter space to set our baggage. ||The other guests were quiet and we didn't get disturbed during the night. I also felt very safe while outside the room. No shady people loitering around. The only negative thing I will mention that bothered me was in the bathroom, there looked mold or something on the wall near the shower but it was a small area and could easily be fixed.||If I ever have the option of a western motel again, I will stay a second time. I feel I got a very nice hotel for the reasonable...

It is not a matter of dislike for this Motel. They are an older Motel that in its day was probably top of the line. The rooms are clean , the staff welcoming , but the wear of time is showing. The room we were first assigned had multiple electrical issues including a non-working air conditioner and television. When I informed the desk of this I did get a mild argument as to whether I was bright enough to operate the remote control of the television which really irritated the heck out of me. We were given another room which everything was working in and it was clean and comfortable. Was very noticeable though that the door at some time in the recent past had been broken into as the jam was shattered but we were able to secure the door. Would I stay at this Motel again? Truthfully, probably not it is overpriced for what it is and as I have found out since were much better options at better pricing...

Gps sent me to a nursing home. Not sure if thats the hotel management being incompetent or google messing it up. As walk in I had to put my shoulder into the door to get it to open. The room had a bad mildew odor. The tv was crooked the furniture was old and stained the carpet was sticky and stained. The bed was hardest I've ever been on in a hotel. Once I got to the bathroom I noticed there was no towel rack, badly patched holes, shower curtain was falling down and toilet wasn't bolted down. I almost gave 1 star but the shower had good water pressure and nice hot water that lasted a while. And they have room for semi parking. So I took shower and slept in my truck. Will never stay here again. $55 and I couldn't stay in the room for long cause the...
