Bumpers Drive-In of America — Restaurant in Philadelphia

I hoped this place was going to be good. Honestly, we almost left before ordering. The disrepair of this place is astounding. It looks dirty and run down. We still ordered because we were really hungry and I figured you can't judge a book by its cover. I was wrong. The person on the intercom was rude. She had a poor attitude. As someone who is former industry(general manager) I was amazed at the level of attitude this girl had. It was as though I was bothering her by being there. Our food came out and my thought was that maybe if the food was great, it could redeem this place. Not by a long shot. The food makes McDonald's look like gourmet cuisine. The burgers were beyond sub par in appearance and taste. Everything was bland and soggy. Except the cheese Stix which were hard and bland. I would not recommend...

We are use to really enjoy bumpers until recently. Once us an 2 other vehicles left, early evening, due to could not get service. Was told rudely "we are busy " lot wasn't even halfway full. 3rd time late evening again the heavy set blond would not answer, but was answering a cellphone. We could sit there watching her. All we wanted was ice cream.. l.T0oday ordered biggie bad. Mine was cold and so soggy could not eat it. Want be going back. Don't know what has happened, but service...

Stopped to get a milkshake at 8:30pm on Saturday night there was 5 people standing in the window looking at us and would not answer the drive thru or the stall. Their hours say close at 11pm. Other than being lazy and apparently ignorant I don’t know of any other reason for not answering their call bells! These fast food restaurants really need to raise their standards up a notch or two when it comes to screening...
