I have stayed in low budget motels before but this was probably the worst. First of all the video on their website is deceiving the upgrades made were probably made several years ago. ||When we first arrived to check in we were greeted by the front desk clerk telling us "rooms are for paying customer only " after telling him we have a paid reservation he told us he had no rooms ready and to leave him our number and he will call us . Well you guessed it after two hours waiting at a Starbucks we got no call so we just went back to try to check in . Now let me tell you about the room it's suppose to be non smoking yet it has ash trays the carpet is filthy and the room had such a terrible stench . We asked if we could upgrade. He said sure for 100 dollars more ,if I wanted to pay that much I would of stayed at the embassy . Back to the room the towels were mixed match I think car wash towels are cleaner and softer , the tv is analog the phone is old the bed spread is also filthy I'm glad I brought my own. The air conditioner is set to fan with no knobs to set it to cool so it feels like a sauna . The window is nailed shut so no relief in opening a window to circulate air. We were charged a 50 dollar amenity . What amenities you have non . The free soap and lotion come in a condiment size bag. Now for the parking . I think the owners live on site. Parking is horrible not enough for the guest because the employees or owners block off parking for their BMW and Mercedes . So good luck finding off sight parking at night . We actually had to wait for someone to pull out so we can park on site and luckily for us someone did.Check out time is 11am the phone started ringing at 10am for us to check out. ||I put the blanket I travel with in the trunk of the car because it left a bad stench from it being on their bed.||Folks save your money travel a few miles extra for another motel, but do not use this motel unless you are in desperate need. And even then I would prefer to sleep in my car it would be cleaner and more...

My stay was from March 24, 2022 to March 26, 2022.
Rivera Inn & Suites Motel is in Pico Rivera, CA which is a good location however is run by a family business owner who has some of his family living and working there. Nothing wrong with it however they're confused about what's important in an accommodation business. In this case the cousin can bang the walls and floors hard which they tell you the guest to hush. The simple answer is Customer is important because they (We) are paying their bills and salary by staying there!
The room I stayed was bad smelling but what is even worse was the dirty tear old cover bed blanket. Even the housekeeper tells me that I was given a bad area of the motel to stay? What she meant? Continue reading because staying at Rivera Inn & Suites Motel was a nightmare. It felt like hell not a sanctuary to rest and sleep!
The non stop strong force noises every single night including the Sheriff Department, the Fire Department and Ambulance arriving around 1 am or 2 am because a guest or someone is banging the floor or walls very hard which doesn't allow other guests to rest and sleep. You been warned that next time think twice before booking a family run motel or hotel because they have family or relatives living or working there and those people can get away with their craziness...
Read moreDuring our stay here we were in two groups, one was staying at this hotel and the other at the Travelodge Whittier. I was looking for a location near Pico Rivera and this hotel was close.I was relieved when I booked a room a this hotel. I heard really bad things about the Travelodge Whittier and this hotel had excellent reviews. When I arrived, this place seemed alright from the outside, but I quickly realized I made a huge mistake booking here. They give no refunds by the way. There is only a small refrigerator and wifi but no coffee pot, iron, ironing board, or microwave (which didn't claim to have but the Travelodge did). The room smelled of urine and the carpet was coming loose. There was a free porn channel and the towels felt like sandpaper (plus they were tiny). All of the furniture in the room was sticky, and we had a blacklight next to the bed. The beds were extra firm and we got one pillow each. The roads next to this hotel were very loud and it was difficult to get much sleep. These rooms also cost more than...
