🌊 Santo Fish – Where Pico Rivera Meets the Sea 📍 9060 Slauson Ave, Pico Rivera, CA From the moment you walk into Santo Fish, you’re greeted with a vibe that’s equal parts coastal charm and modern Mexican flair. The ambiance is relaxed but elevated—think volcanic stone plates, vibrant cocktails, and a playlist that makes you want to stay for one more round. 🥑 Start with the Sea Guacamole—a creamy, ocean-kissed blend of avocado, shrimp, and octopus that sets the tone for what’s to come. Pair it with their house chips and a mezcal piña cocktail (yes, with charred pineapple!) and you’re already winning. 🔥 Must-Try Dishes: Governor Tacos: Sinaloa-style shrimp tacos with sautéed onions, peppers, and melted Monterrey cheese. Rich, savory, and perfectly balanced. • Pulpo a las Brasas: Charred octopus served on volcanic stone with veggies smoky, tender, and unforgettable. • Aguachile en Salsa Morena: A bold, spicy shrimp ceviche marinated in dark sauce and chiltepin. It’s got kick, depth, and a flavor that lingers in the best way.

🌱 Vegan Options: Surprisingly thoughtful! The Cauliflower Spice Ceviche and Jamaica Flower Tacos are flavorful enough to make even seafood lovers pause.

💬 Service: Attentive and knowledgeable. Gabby, in particular, knows the menu inside out and makes stellar recommendations.

💸 Price Point: Slightly upscale for Pico Rivera, but the quality and creativity justify it. Portions lean gourmet, not gut-bustingperfect for savoring.

🎯 Final Take: Santo Fish isn’t just a seafood spot—it’s a culinary experience that blends tradition with innovation. Whether you’re a ceviche connoisseur or just craving something fresh and bold, this...

Good food. Terrible service. Not a good value. Paisa minimalist decor. We ordered the pescado zarandeado, guacamole with chips, and pulpo a las brasas. The pescado zarandeado was over $80 for four people. We received 2 seasoned charbroiled white fish with lots of bones. After picking out bones throughout the fish, we found It was delicious. However, it came with 6 tortillas, a very, very, small side of beans and a 1/4 cup of spanish rice. We asked for more tortillas and received 3 more tortillas for $3. The guacamole was fresh and creamy. It had pieces of shrimp and octopus. The chips were made to order and tasty, but the portions were stingy. The green and molcajete salsas were gringo style, no heat, but savory. The octopus a las brasas was tender and well seasoned. The side salad included with the octopus was the best of all the dishes. The restaurant was not busy, and the staff was slow to serve our refreshments and lacked basic hospitality skills. The interior decor was terrible. It was a cross mixture of cheap plastic hanging plants, cheap plastic flowers at the tables and never seen color combinations. Dollar Tree decor. Not worth the $140 we spent. If you love mariscos, there are better places at a better value with better service at half the price. If you don’t mind roaches, go to Taco Boy next door. Tasty food,...

This place is not that great and overpriced for what you get. I recently came here with a few people and took an hour to seat us, which is ok. Took a while to get our drinks but getting the food took so much longer. 3 out of the 5 of us got our food around 30 minutes after we ordered while it took well over an hour and 15 minutes for the other 2 to get theirs. 1 of the 2 people walked out and just cancelled their order because of how long it took, also only about half the restaurant was full so not sure why it took long. Also they only give like 5 shrimps for the dishes and very little amount of rice and beans, so that definitely was not worth it. The only positive thing I can say was that the waitress was kind and took off one of the orders from the bill. They also gave us a free plate from one of the other tables that they didn't want. The other table though said they waited even longer to get their food. They said they were there for 3 hours and barely got that fish plate I got for free right before they left. So they give you little food for the price, you'll wait a long time for the food, but the waitress was...
