Always read the comments, when trying a new restaurant. If you want a cool, crisp atmosphere and some tasty seafood/mariscos DO NOT come here. As commenters below said, this place is hot and humid. The waiters say the ac is on but its not! I not sure they do it on purpose or trying to cut electricity costs. I was baffled when I entered the building, no one greets you or helps you out. My family and I looked like lost puppies with one the few customers they had looking at us. Finally a waitress helps us out and tells us to pick .a table. She be right back she said, 10 minutes later she comes back just for drink order, another 10 minutes, food order, lastly 30 minutes for our food. The shrimp cocktail was basic, shrimp rubbery and grainy. Shrimp tacos okay, the sauce probably from a can. My wifes shrimp cheviche was warm and served on a warm plate. My kids $12 dino nuggets and fries was the best thing we ate. Mind you its was $12 for 6 Dino nuggets and fries from the costco or grocery store. I dont mind paying extra when the food is good collectively, but the prices are a bit steep for what my family got. I get it, its seafood, and yes i can afford it. Overall the atmosphere feels like humid jungle with matching decor to back up the jungle feel. Food is overpriced and under whelming. Mind you Im using the toilet right now at home typing this review. Just a couple of hours after visiting this place. Service is lack luster. Waitress are well presented, friendly when the finally help you, but once the leave they wont be back for while. Too busy in the back gossiping or pretending to be busy. PS Im genuinely being honest about my experience here and not doing this to be spiteful...
Read moreAs soon as I opened the door, I was hit with a wave of hot air. The AC was clearly off, yet when I asked the waitress, she claimed all three air conditioners and five fans were on. It was extremely hot and uncomfortable inside.
At first glance, the restaurant looks somewhat invitingâbut not quite. They have plenty of tables. There were eight tables with customers and three waitresses (including little kids) all of whom seemed very busy doing anything but attending to customers.
I ordered four waters with lime, and one of the cups came out dirty. I asked for a replacements and never got it. We also had to ask for utensils because none were provided. They looked musty so I asked for plastic utensils. Not a great start.
I ordered the Zarandiado (see pic). It looked presentable, but thatâs about it. It supposedly âtook 30 minutes to make,â only to arrive cold and completely flavorless. It came with country potatoes that tasted like yesterdayâs leftovers, a side of plain rice, and some odd, nasty-looking mashed potatoes that didnât taste any better than they looked. The only decent thing on the plate? The tortillas.
To make things worse, the fish ceviche we ordered took forever and it came out hot! Who wants hot ceviche? Absolutely no one. DISGUSTING!
Between the uncomfortable heat, inattentive service, and badly prepared food, this place is a definite hard pass.

Read moreFirst and foremost the ac sucks. The food is expensive, customer service is almost non existent, and food is bland. This restaurant does not provide fresh limes to add to your food or pepper. When I asked for pepper they brought me a plastic container which I had to grab with my fingers to sprinkle into my tostada. WTH! lol Kids menu is expensive and drinks are flat by the time you get your food. My tostada de camarĂłn y ceviche was warm and so was the plate it was on, which is a first for meâŚI felt like I needed a cup of water (which they donât offer you water or anything really) the waitresses are nice (I guess)and they disappear on you. Most of the customers were getting up to go pay because no one came to collect the check. Our waitress spoke English yet continued to speak to us in Spanish, which was so weird. Our check was almost 90 bucks. Save yourself the uncomfortable experience of sitting in a hot room where your waitress disappears the whole time youâre there....
