I’ve spent the past three weeks attending in-person meetings and initially planned to make this hotel my regular home base over the next three years, as an ongoing project will require frequent travel to the area. While I had high hopes, a number of issues over the course of my stay have led me to reconsider.||From a corporate perspective, our group booked meeting space and catering for several consecutive days. We were served the same lunch repeatedly until the fourth day, when we provided direct feedback requesting some variety and no leftovers. While the team did respond once we spoke up, this lack of proactivity felt misaligned with the expectations of a business-focused venue.||We also encountered a serious scheduling issue: our reserved conference room was double-booked, forcing us to hold a confidential session in the hotel restaurant. Needless to say, this was not ideal from a privacy or professionalism standpoint.||On the personal side, there were also several issues with the room itself. Housekeeping did not come by for at least two of the days, and basic amenities like shampoo were missing altogether. Bottled water was not replenished, which I’ve come to expect as standard in hotels of this tier. Additionally, I paid $60 to extend my stay by one hour for a key meeting, but my key card was not updated after the payment. I had to make multiple trips to the front desk and ultimately was late to the meeting—exactly what I was trying to avoid by extending the stay in the first place.||Finally, while the on-site restaurant has potential, service was consistently slow, even when it wasn’t busy. Over the course of multiple meals, this added up to a frustrating experience for both myself and my colleagues.||None of these issues on their own would necessarily lead me to look elsewhere—but taken together, they reflect a pattern of inattention to detail and guest experience. I wanted this to be the start of a long-term relationship, but unfortunately I’ll be taking my business elsewhere going forward.||I hope this feedback is taken constructively, as it's intended, and helps the hotel make improvements for...
Read moreThe good: Rooms had a nice layout and sitting area. The AC worked. The cookies.||The Bad: ||Breakfast was advertised to start at 6:30 EVERYDAY. They had signs in the elevator, at the reception, all over stating this. The hotel was 90% filled for a big swim meet. Most of the swimmers had to have breakfast at 6:30 to leave the hotel at 7.||For all 3 mornings we were there, breakfast was not ready by 6:30. People who paid the for breakfast were barely able to grab a banana or coffee without being shamed by the restaurant workers. On Sunday, we went to the restaurant for breakfast to find NOTHING was set up. We went to the reception to see what was going on...there was no one at the reception desk. Finally at 6:50 a new receptionist comes in. By this time, there were a bunch of us looking for breakfast. The new receptionist tells us that for sunday, breakfast has been moved to one of the ballrooms on the 2nd floor. So we go searching for breakfast and find it down a hall. When we get inside, again, breakfast is not ready. It is like 6:55 at this point. The main setting up angrily tells us that breakfast does not start until 7:00. AGAIN, all signs say that it starts at 6:30 EVERYDAY!||So again, I grab my $15 banana and cup of juice. Go back down to the reception area. She asks how breakfast was and I told her the man in the restaurant said it did not open until 7. She says "yes, sundays it does not open until 7:00"||1. Why would you not mention this when you sent us updtairs?|2. There is a sign on the reception desk counter, literally inches from out faces that says breakfast EVERYDAY at 6:30. I mention the sign and she says "yeah, a miscommunication"||One morning, at 6:30 am we went to the elevator to go down to breakfast and the door to the elevator space was locked. We had to backtrack and go down to the lobby to let them know the elevator was still locked.||They literally did not have breakfast ready in time for the swimmers to eat and they did not offer an sort of refund for the...
Read moreDon’t stay here!!! We stayed here in 2021 and it was newly renovated. We had the best experience, everything was clean and the front desk staff were so kind! We just returned for another stay (total of 6 days) and it was very disappointing. The hotel is so run down and DIRTY! The floors and carpet are filthy, they do not mop them or vacuum. The ceiling in the lobby was leaking water and there was a bucket there catching the water for 3 days before anyone fixed it. The rooms are also dirty. We walked into our room and it smelled like urine! The lamp had a bulb going on so it flickered when on. The curtains were heavily stained… The towels were stained and so was the blanket on the bed. Housekeeping would come daily and remove all towels (even if they were clean) and leave us with nothing. Every day we would ask them for towels and they would tell us they have none. When we went to the front desk they apologized each day and then sent towels up so not sure what the issue was there. The gym was also very dirty. No towels were available in there every single day of our stay, just an empty shelf. The floor and machines were very dirty, and most of the machines were broken/not well maintained. Just outside the gym is the hot tub and pool. Again no pool towels available every single day of our stay, just an empty shelf. The pool and hot tub have not been cleaned, full of debris. There was a family with lots of kids in there daily, swimming with their clothes on and eating in the pool. Garbage all over the place and it was never cleaned up. They also advertise a “breakfast buffet” for $18 a person. I was appalled at their idea of a breakfast buffet. It included rotten fruit, stale/dry pastries, egg beaters that were overcooked, and yogurt that was not sitting on ice so it was runny and warm. I will say the front desk staff was wonderful and this has to be the only reason this hotel is even open still. No idea what happened but this place went downhill and we will...
