I love it when you find a real diamond in the rough. The Country Kwik Market is that diamond. Small liquor store market with a fresh deli. When making a sandwich, details matter.

The bread (French roll) was soft and fresh, the veggies crisp, my meat and cheese (roast beef and Swiss) super yummy and I love that you hand wrote your order exactly how you want it. I also didn’t have to mention to put mayo on one side and mustard on the other side of bread. You can’t have mayo or mustard on the meat because then you’ll get an injection of that goo into your mouth when you bite, and no one wants that 🤔

The box lunch is includes a drink, your choice of sandwhich, banana, cookie and chips. It’s a bargain as the sandwhich is full size. This place is a must stop for a quick bite. I’m also patting myself on the back for giving this place a try on whim alone. Now that I’m closer to Mt Sac than Workman high, I have a new neighborhood to explore.

Note, for those of us who don’t eat super spicy flaming hot honey bbq, they also carry regional chips instead of just the Lays. Tim’s Chips are excellent.

Today’s sandwich was the meatball. Although still affordable and hot with melted provalone, don’t expect a lot from this. It’s probably on par with a subway meatball if that’s what you want. Otherwise stick to...

I was so surprised by an experience I had with an employee Monique. I ordered a delivery Thurs morning. The cookies I ordered were hard beyond belief, and you can tell they were not fresh at all. I knew from previous experience that the cookies are normally soft and fresh, because most days you can smell them cooking as you come in the door. I went back the Sunday after, and explained to Monique my experience, I didn’t want anything other than the purchase of candy I came in there for, but she was so confident that my previous purchase was a fluke and she offered me a fresh order of the best, warmest, freshest sugar cookies I have ever tasted! Boy was she right!!! My experience with her will keep me as a loyal customer, who will tell others of the best cookies(and sandwiches)ever!! I had to call and ask for her name for my review, and spoke to a sweetheart named Alyssa and her patiently listening made me feel valued....

What's there to say? I love the place, it's a place I can go to for an afternoon sandwich, cookies before bedtime, ETC. Personally I like to go here for almost any situation. The staff are very calm and chill looking, the majority of them smile and greet me and are attentive if I get close to sandwich counter, this is one of those places where you write your order on a slip of paper, so you'd get why they'd be attentive. The only thing that bugged me was an honest mistake that they gave me a Roast Beef instead of a Pastrami. I to this day am unsure if I committed the error of writing in the wrong number, or if it was the sandwich preparer LMAO I may never know, but it makes no difference...
