Extended Stay America Premier Suites - Pueblo — Hotel in Pueblo

I stayed here for 2 nights in August while on a long road trip. The property itself is newer, very clean, and felt safe. My studio suite with a queen bed included a full kitchen (fridge, cooktop, microwave) and the front desk provides pots, pans, and dishes in a plastic bin when you ask. Nice touches included a popcorn cart at the entrance, a small fitness center, and guest laundry.

There are a few downsides worth noting. The pet fee was extremely high at $50 per day — far more than most comparable hotels. The included breakfast is minimal, with packaged muffins, oatmeal and nutrigrain bars, prepackaged hard-boiled eggs, yogurt and a bit of fruit. The coffee, however, was very good.

The biggest issue I experienced was with customer service. After a long drive, I had to wait 10 minutes to check in because no one was at the desk (apparently they were in a meeting). This happened more than once ... for example, I had to wait 20 minutes one morning for coffee to be refilled. Every time I needed help, I ended up waiting longer than I should have.

Overall, this hotel is newer, clean, and well located near shopping and grocery stores, but the high pet fees and slow customer service take away from...

From check in to check out, this stay was miserable. We booked online, our arrival time was 2am. We called on the way to make sure that was okay and they confirmed. Apon arrival, we were locked out of the main office. You need a hotel key card to get in the main lobby (which we did not have because we had not checked in) we were locked in this lobby for 15 minutes waiting on one of the employees to let us in to check in. On check in we were told the elevator was broke, so it was not handicap accessible! We inquired about breakfast and were told they were going to have “eggs and stuff.” When we woke up, and went to eat there was a small basket of nature valley bars, and they were out of coffee. (This was at 8am) no other breakfast and the vending machines were “out of order” this hotel ruined this company for my family. We will never stay at one of...

We had a great stay at this hotel. The parking lot had plenty of room for our large trailer. We checked in late at night, and the lady at the desk was kind and helpful. The laundromat was great.

The most important thing to us when choosing a hotel is its cleanliness. Our room was spotless and very spacious. It was a disappointment that we were unable to use the TV in the room because it said “no signal”, but that didn’t ruin our stay.

The breakfast was ok, VERY minimal, and several of the grab and go options had run out by 8:30 when we went down. Again, this didn’t ruin the stay, but it was a little disappointing.
