Condo was in a great location. Price was a little high, but par for the course given the island.
Wouldāve been 5 stars, but ran into some issues with staff attitude.
Rented multiple golf carts during 1 week stay. Thereās kind of a collaborative effort between the condo and providers.
3rd cart I rented ended up having issues (sounded like it struggled plus breaks started having issues).
Concerned with safety issues (breaks not working well) - called the sign at front requesting to exchange carts. Keep in mind this was during a weekday and the island is very quiet. Very little carts were rented out.
After an hour or so (and a few calls) - they grabbed the cart, drove it around the block, and said āseems fine to meā. We had 6 people vs. then testing with a single,
Instead of simply swapping the cart - guy starts talking about how one of my passengers stood up in the back of cart (I guess he did riding in the parking lot?) and how that would be grounds for taking the cart back. Then how since I appear sober, by his grace I can somehow keep the unsafe cart? (I was DD for the week btw).
I mean seriously... instead of just swapping the cart dude decided to flip it and gaslight me on how the cart was my issue.
I wouldāve kept the cart and condo issue split aside from the fact I saw that guy also working in the condos.
Aside from that one guy acting like that - everyone else...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreEDIT: there isn't anywhere to log stay-dates on this review form. I stayed there in late August 2016; wrote my review in November. I stayed in a year-old Poolview condo, not the brand new Waterfront condo section.
The condo was structurally very nice, but I had to clean black gunk, $1.37 of change, and a few hair pins out of the washing machine gasket prior to washing my clothes. The washing machine looked like it hadn't been cleaned all summer. The kitchen looked like it might have seen one too many parties. The handle on the microwave oven was broken and duct-taped. Also, there are flower beds all along the parking lot, and flowering trees beside the sidewalks, so when they are in bloom -- getting into or leaving your condo can require walking through a cloud of bees. I also saw paper wasps hanging out near the doorways of condos. If you are allergic to bees/wasps or just plain scared of them, you might feel a little like a prisoner indoors once you muster the courage to sprint from the parking lot to the door. I was staying with friends who made the reservation, and they didn't think the flowers in the web site photos looked too bad, but at the time we were there, there were a lot more flowers in bloom than are shown on...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI loved the view from the balcony. Unfortunately, out of a 4 bedroom condo there was only 2 tvās. One in the family room and one in the bedroom upstairs. The master bedroom was downstairs with a full bathroom (no balcony) . The three bedrooms upstairs have to share a bathroom. It was very clean, staff was helpful and friendly. DONāT RENT YOUR GOLF CART HERE. Their expensive, slow and old. You can find better ones on the island⦠trust me! We went around spring break so a lot of our neighbors were loud. They do also ask a lot of cleaning at the end of your stay which should be included because itās so expensive! Make sure you bring food because their is no stores on the island. Only one grocery store and they close at like 5 or 7 p.m. and the condos donāt come with complimentary waters or anything. The a/c didnāt work well either⦠you had to use the ceiling fan in your room to make it cool. But it was clean, had a washer and dryer and bed were comfy. Great for a large group or family. Bring a tablet or tv or something for entertainment because there is...
