We chose this SpringHill as an overnight stop on a recent road trip; though we were traveling I-95, guest reviews for the majority of I-95 hotels in NC raised questions about vehicle security issues so we decided to veer off route a bit. The SpringHill was conveniently located right off I-40, added less than 20 minutes total to our drive from FL to NJ, and had a handful of quick dinner options nearby. Furthermore, the property was essentially brand new and fewer Bonvoy points than most other options in the area! ||The room was typically SpringHill decor, though it’s worth noting the room felt larger than other SpringHills I’ve stayed at in the past. The room had one of the largest closets I’ve ever seen at a roadside Marriott! We also really liked that the stairwell had windows throughout. Breakfast in the morning was well stocked, had a good variety of food, and I appreciated that full-size water bottles were available for guests. The staff was very friendly, especially Christine at the front desk and the two gentlemen that worked the desk in the morning - one of them walked around to every table at breakfast to make sure guests had what they needed. Overall, we thought this was a great choice of final stop after two weeks of traveling; we felt very safe at the SpringHill and would definitely keep it in mind for...
Read moreI can tell you that my entire team spent the weekend at this hotel. During our stay we dealt primarily with Tiffany at the front desk. This young lady took care of us for four consecutive days and I know it was not easy. She handled every single request and tasks that we asked for like it was the most important thing going on. To us it may have been and she treated us like gold. Whether it was extra pillows or towels, she was always spot on and was there to take care of us. She was also paramount when we were checking out and made sure that any accommodation we needed prior to our departure was extended to us. She is definitely a top-notch front desk person and should probably be in a full-time management spot or at the very least someone who is looked upon to show everyone else how to do their job efficiently and effectively. Trust me when I tell you that you are doing yourself an injustice by not staying at this hotel and specifically asking for Tiffany when you get there. She was an incredible individual and a delightful person to be around. She gives new meaning to the word...
Read moreI don't usually write reviews but that has to tell you a lot about the quality of this hotel. I was met by a very amazing and gracious receptionist after work. Was provided a room that was well furnished and had a sizeable bed. It was clean to an impressive degree. The location may be close to the road and industrial work places, but it's very quiet there and I had no issues sleeping. The breakfast was spectacular and their selection was wide. From the typical eggs and waffles they also had a sizeable bar for oatmeal a long with a larger selection of milk. There was a spinach quiche that was amazing and another muffin like item that tasted a lot like a fresh cheddar bo biscuit. I assume the manager was attending that morning and he approached me to ask how my stay was, and if you needed more assurance as to my answer it was amazing. Would definitely recommend this to anyone on a long trip or in Raleigh for any special event as it's only ~20 minutes from the Raleigh...
