The original El Tarasco at Rosecrans and Manhattan Beach has been a favorite in the South Bay since the '70s, and this new location in North Redondo continues to impress. On a cool evening, indoor seating can be cozy, especially when they open the large pull-down door to create more space for tables. I decided to head out to the patio and bumped my head on the door, which swings down at around 5'10" (as shown in the picture). I woke up with a bit of neck pain, but I’m confident a run and workout will help me feel better.

I called before taking a journey to this location. I specially asked if their shrimp is de-vained. The lovely lady who answered the phone said, "Hold on, let me ask." I heard her asking in Spanish in the background and laughter. She came back to the phone and said yes. I CAN NOT eat shrimp vains. I get home, and as always, I check my food because I know what makes me sick, shrimp veins (see attached pic). If you lie to me, you lie to everyone.

First time coming here today & ordered a carne adada burrito . Sadly when I get home and took a bite ,I was quickly disappointed to see so many beans .You can imagine the rest , realy not good choise or no good cook but I wont b coming back or recomending soon .

I used to love el tarasco… I was excited for this place to open. Unfortunately it’s way way overpriced and the food is not good. for rice beans and cheap cuts of steak. Very expensive for not that great food.. for 2 people it was $54. Both dishes were flavorless, salsa was not even good.. I got a burrito and she got some shrimp dish ($28). We both drank water. We wanted to get michiladas, but for some reason they didn’t have something to make them… glad we didn’t cause it probably would have been $100. All that being said my smallest complaint is the portion size. We were both still hungry after and neither of us...

The service here sucks and our waitress that we had didn’t even check on us to see if we needed anything or didn’t even bring me a fork when I asked and we had to get up and ask for the bill and our waitress gave us a dirty look when she asked if we were paying together or not and when my friend said separate she gave us a dirty look. I would not recommend coming here or to this location and I didn’t tip either so glad I didn’t. I came here thinking we would have a great service with all the ratings listed here but nope not going back here. I would recommend going elsewhere! Terrible service and they only have one...

Everything is Great' Especially The Service from The Sweetest Waitress' she is Soooooooooooooo Wonderful and Helpful' I Happened To Notice Today She Was Trying To Have Quick Snack' But Couldn't because it got really busy' She's Always By Herself Serving Everyone' & That's NOT Ok!!!" So I Ask? ... Please Don't Something About That' Not For Faster Service' But To NOT Overwhelming Her' I'll be Back Soon Because I Really Enjoy Your Food' I Know & Understand that it's a Really Hard time Now In This Country' but Don't let it Change our Good Souls Let's Do The Right Thing' I'll see you all...
