This is such an excellent place to have your child’s birthday party! I recently threw a party for 50 people to celebrate my 3 year olds birthday party. The price is unbeatable for all the amenities you receive, and the quality of service is incomparable! Andy, the host or manager, was quite exceptional! He catered to all of our needs with high energy and made us feel as if he cared as much about out guest and their experience as much as we did. My hubby and I are big on celebrating life, so we typically go big for our baby girl when it comes to her birthday. This year, we created a mini movie and wanted to display it to our guest. The staff at Wonder of Dinosaurs helped set-up our room to accommodate our large number of guests, and went the extra mile to make sure we were happy! The best part is we received an unexpected credit since many of our guests could not make it at the last minute, and we received a complimentary gift for the birthday girl including a free return ticket.
We have recommended this place to everyone we know! Our guests included children of all ages, and everyone had fun...even the adults.
Wonder of Dinosaurs tips all their competitions! Their party packages includes wristbands which allow you to exit and return to the facility all day, where their competitors only allow you to be at the facilities for 2 hour windows at the sameness price. We paid about $530 and my 50 guest got to attend the facility all day from 10am to 7pm!
Great management! Great customer service! The best bang for your...
Read moreI have mixed feelings about this place - I live in OC and a friend loves in the valley so we were looking for a place roughly in the middle to meet up with our little ones. From the reviews I read, I thought it would be more of a museum (which they do have a museum like area upstairs) but the main area/floor is a group of bounce houses and blow up entertainment (a maze). He had a fun enough time - my main points of frustration are too fold 1 - a number of the games were noticeably damaged (eg torn nets on the basketball shooter) not in a way that made safety a concern, but it did make me wonder how throughly they take care of the place (specifically around cleaning) 2 - they have a bathroom they call "mens/family bathroom" but this is NOT a family bathroom - it was a men's bathroom they threw a sign on saying "unisex, lock the door behind you", and outside it had a changing area that is just a built in chaining pad. This whole bathroom area was VERY DIRTY - like felt gas station rest stop dirty - with a closed stall that was broken and everything. Honestly if we had gone there first (we went right before leaving) I don't think I would have stayed for the same reason as above, it makes me question the whole locations cleanliness. I debated giving one star, but he did have fun, so I'm splitting his 5 star with my 1 star to rate it a 3. PS tickets are half the cost...
Read moreA Must-Visit for Dino-Loving Kids!
I cannot recommend Wonders of Dinosaurs enough! My 2-year-old son and I visited while we were in Los Angeles, and it was such a fantastic experience that we went twice in one week. Located inside the South Bay Galleria, this hidden gem is both an educational museum and an incredible play space for kids of all ages.
The first floor is dedicated to learning, with dinosaur rides and interactive exhibits, while the second floor is a dream come true for little explorers—mini golf, bounce houses, and even ride-on dinosaur toys! What truly made this place stand out was how attentive, patient, and inclusive the staff were. They welcomed all children, including sensory-seeking and more timid little ones, with open arms. Toddler tantrums and messes were never met with frustration—only kindness.
One of the highlights of our visit was the owner’s kindness. My son was initially scared of the dinosaur games, and instead of rushing him through the experience, they offered us a free return visit so he could explore at his own pace. That level of thoughtfulness meant the world to us.
If you have a dinosaur-loving kiddo, Wonders of Dinosaurs is an absolute must-visit. It’s a place where kids can learn, play, and just be themselves in a welcoming and fun environment. We’ll definitely be back next time...
