El Nido Park & RC Track — Attraction in Torrance

This is a nice place for families with kids and a good place to bring your dog as well. NA meetings are here 4 nights per week. There are often homeless people here but i have not seen any problems or incidents so far.

In response to an earlier review, I have been coming to NA meetings here for over 5 years. Our members are actively encouraged to respect all park rules and to respect our neighbors' peace and privacy. There are no "drug classes" here. Most of us are here by our own choice. Many live nearby, and have homes and jobs and families and are generally well behaved. Rarely is there an incident or problem. We arrive a little while before the meeting, and leave soon after. We don't spend time around other people's children unless we are there with our own.

I stay across the street from this park and I live in a nice area but unfortunately the park attracts riff raffs.. people do drugs in the parking lot burn rubber and almost hit other parked cars while doing donuts in the lot, sex behind the trees, homeless people sleeping in the park, homeless lighting trash in the Bbq pitts for warmth I guess and the burnt trash smells soooo horrible I almost threw my guts up! So in a bit shell - I live less than a hundred feet from here and I see everything! So I don't recommend it to families trying have an outing/picnic bbq and if you do?? Take your own pitt "trust me" and watch your back from thiefs and needles in the lawn.. but please ' go...

Nice park tucked away in a quiet neighborhood. Basketball court, big baseball/softball field, swings and 2 play areas. The only downside to this park is that it's often frequented by people doing drugs, drug deals, or the occasional backseat shuffle. Though they mind their own business it's just an ugly look for the park and gives the wrong impression. They do have park rangers that come by check on things. The cops rarely ever drive by and if they show up it's usually because of something major. Late night brings out the rif-raff as the park is super dark at night. There are nicer parks in the surrounding area.....it's a hit or miss on how this...
