Al Chile Pelon Mexican Food — Restaurant in Lawndale

I’ve been here before and had a terrible experience. Was going to give this place another chance only to have all the staff hanging out at the back door/ kitchen entrance, trying to make myself noticeable, only to be ignored to continue their private conversation. Honestly it’s raining and I’m just trying to get some food from a place I wanted to give a second chance. Extremely disappointed and dissatisfied. Recently moved to this neighborhood and happened to walk by and thought "this place looks like the type of place that would have good Mexican food", and I was not disappointed. I tried a chicken, carne asada, and al pastor taco. They were all tasty but the al pastor taco was my favorite. You can probably find cheaper Mexican food in other parts of LA, but for the South Bay the prices are a steal. I am sure I will be back too often for my own good.
