If you are thinking of moving here do yourself a favor and don't. The own/property manager (Margie) is worse than a slum lord. She discriminates against Veterans and even goes as far as singling out residents to torment. After the hurricane last year she was more worried because trees that fell on her property but not concerned the same trees fell on the homes of the residents. Some living there still have plumbing and electrical issues resulting from the fallen trees but she threatened to evict them for not rebuilding screened porches with their FEMA assistance verses fixing their homes. I know of one resident that has no AC, holes in her roof, and several plumbing issues that she's unable to have fixed because she was forced to have a screened porch build instead. Tree trimming two year fee has increased, check with HOA. More people that joint he less the fee will be. They are restricted to height of 18'. You could not find a better location with amenities at your doorstep. The pool temperature control needs adjustment... it's cold !!! The recreation building and pool are secured. Residents are issued a swipe fob for entrance.
Country Villa Estates is a great place to live. I find it to be quiet, relaxing and friendly. The park is clean and is kept up nicely. The office staff is easy to work with and the rent is reasonable. They have a fair pet policy and residents appear to care for their pets responsibly. The location is also a big plus as it is close to many stores and restaurants. I really enjoy living here at Country...
