IHOP — Restaurant in Florida

Had the worst experience in my life. Since I got out of my car, the Older guy (The cook) guy was out side spitting and coughing plus smoking it was 11:25 p.m. the store was empty. I went with my Wife and kids 5. Store empty. Didn't get the server after 12 min. Order 6 plates

The first plate came after 45 min Cold eggs, nasty greasy burned bacon Cold pancakes 🤮🤢🤮🤢🤮🤢🤮🤢🤒

I asked the server its cold can I get a remake? She took the plate 10 min late gave me the same frozen plate.

After the first plate the second plate came after my child ate her nasty Cold food ( sorry it was nasty)

It was 2 order o stacks pancakes. 1 blueberry 1 cheese cake they where Cold and small. 🤦🏾‍♂️🤦🏾‍♂️🤦🏾‍♂️🤦🏾‍♂️🤦🏾‍♂️🤦🏾‍♂️

After she ( server blue hair) brought the Cold stacks she brings me my 2 Steak burgers over cooked and burned plus Cold fries + Hard Bread + The Biggest and thickness tomato you can imagine.

I was going to let the server know about everything and before I call her I hear in the kitchen 2 people screaming and cursing 🤬 and throwing plates. I just said forget about this and we where so hungry we had to eat it. 🤮🤒🤢 Been all night in the bathroom and my kids also. Everything horrible. I let the waiter know after the stopped screaming and any issue don't understand, About the situation all she said Im sorry we always have problems with that old man! I dont know how he still works her!! 🤦🏾‍♂️🤦🏾‍♂️🤦🏾‍♂️

And I paid my order all the way for the worst experience...

This is the local IHOP to our home. I can remember not too long ago where they were lacking staff. Glad to say there was plenty of stuff available today. But it was a bit of a turn off when a manager felt that it was appropriate to reprimand a staff member where the customers could hear. The place is very cold! This young man who was apparently very young came to work with a white hoodie on underneath his uniform. The young lady at the desk (not a manager) felt it was her place to reprimand him for wearing this jacket underneath his uniform. She then decided it was appropriate to go tell on him. This ultimately lead to the manager yelling for his attention and chastising him where we could hear. The manager and other staff members then felt it was appropriate to talk about how this was handled in front of him and in front of us. EXTREMELY unprofessional. There was no attempt to offer a simple resolution to something that could have been easily resolved. The manager had an opportunity to teach this young man without humiliating him and that was definitely missed here. Recommend don’t be in such a rush to hire people who are only looking to feel big and bad for a title and not the leader of a team. Very disappointed in how this was handled and glad we decided to take our meal to go! I pray this young man hangs in there and is provided better opportunities and teaching moments than what was...

I have been going to this Ihop for quite some time because I live nearby; however, the night staff is continuously getting worse. This Sat 2/10/24 - I was there around 10ish. My server Steph was phenomenal; however what we witnessed was awful. Some girl (name started with Z), with a bonnet on, began yelling obnoxiously at another server. I did not hear the other server say a word. Z server then disappeared for a long time and returned with another girl (unsure of where she came from). The 2 girls started yelling and slamming their fists on the walls and causing a huge scene. The server who they were yelling at barely said 2 words. It seemed very threatening. Steph was the one who yelled we have customers in here and to stop. They ignored Steph and continued with their behavior. I have come in at all times and usually the staff is great, however, many of the times that I go in during the night shift and the bonnet girl has taken care of us, has been less than good service. She is never around or attentive. Most times I have to wait 20 minutes just to pay my bill. I believe Steph is a great server the few times I have had her. I have not experienced the girl who came in to yell or the girl they were yelling at but this was completely unprofessional, especially since the one girl was not saying anything.
