Nothing Bundt Cakes — Restaurant in Florida

I am leaving this post so that everyone can be aware that there is peanut contamination in all of their products. I went to the Winthrop location yesterday and inquired about their allergies. I was told 3 times the bundt cake I purchased was safe for my daughter who has a peanut allergy, and that only the pecan cake could be contaminated. After eating a tiny bite, my daughter started having a reaction and we rushed her to the hospital. My daughter was treated and is thankfully okay today. I went in this morning to tell the owner and instead of acknowledging an issue kept saying she has a book that doesn't show peanuts as an allergen. I informed her that according to corporate's website and Facebook, there is cross-contamination and to please contact them. As a parent of a child with allergies I realize I should have never trusted them and have learned a valuable lesson. However, I have never had an establishment assure me three times of a foods safety and have been wrong in the 15 years we have been aware of her allergy. I am writing this in the hopes of saving someones life. Please do not eat here if you are allergic to peanuts. I am also writing this because a quick Google search will tell anyone that these products are contaminated and I am shocked and perplexed that the owner of a place that sells food...

Shout out to Noel from the Riverview store. On Friday 09/30 I was due to pickup an order for my granddaughter’s bridal shower. Well we had just this week had hurricane Ian pass through. I called at 4 pm the scheduled time to pick up my order and the store was closed due to the storm. I ended up emailing the store and Noel contacted me back within 15 minutes. After talking about the situation, Noel came up with a couple of different ideas. She was able to contact the S. Lakeland store and have my order completely filled within the hour. She also offered to have it delivered to us and was so apologetic about miscommunication due to the weather. I am so very grateful to Noel and the S. Lakeland store for going above and beyond for myself and my granddaughter. Everything turned out perfect. And I owe to them. I will in the future order from them again. Customer service and satisfaction was very important to both stores....
