Motel 6 Riviera Beach Florida — Hotel in Riviera Beach

The motel is located directly in a dangerous area. The stores close early because of that compared to the surrounding areas south of here. There is black mold on the ceiling in rooms and rooms where it looks like they covered it with paint. No smart tvs. The owner and family live on the property, and they come out and say the children can't play and I'm talking during the day. The people upstairs have men coming in and out of their room, and they treat the people that are getting temporary assistance from Goodwill, like 2nd class citizens. Goodwill is paying for these people, too, stay here just like anyone else. All money is green & these people are going through enough. They can finally have a place to sleep temporarily and shouldn't be treated any different. Not to mention it's still hard on the families since the rooms are like a box and you can barely fit drinks let alone food in them and there's no way to cook. They come out and say the pools closing just because they feel like it when the sign says from morning to dark. They lie and say guests are complaining in rooms near the pool. Trust me no one is complaining in the middle of the day about people swimming in the pool. Especially in the city of Riviera Beach the guest that choose to come here over all the motels and hotels in the area are not here to complain about the people at the pool. They are rude about giving you a key to your room if you accidentally leave it in there. They are just rude and treat their guests terrible. If you smoke cigarettes use your money and stay at a place without mold that has accommodations, they have all these issues but act like a hospital and you can't smoke outside unless you go far to a picnic area which is dangerous if you know about this city. There is nothing nearby except gas stations. I could go on but save yourself the hassle and misery and spend your money at any of the other hotels that are the same price but offer so much more in west palm beach lantana and Boynton Beach or even lake worth. I have been using this location for my hotel stays because it is cheap and affordable for my budget. I recommend anyone that is not from the area to use this hotel because the manager is very nice and his customer service skills is on point! I feel very safe when I am here (especially with 2 children) and that is because they have high security that actually does his job! I have been to several other locations and none can and will compare to the type of service that is offered here! Do not listen to those talking down on this hotel because they are WRONG! I have very bad allergies and this hotel is the only one (for the price that they offer) that does not get me sick. This hotel have amazing staff and the cleaning crew take pride in their work leaving the room spotless and germ free! I have never seen a cleaning crew like the cleaning crew and I commend them for doing an excellent job! Breakfast is fair, and the people may not be the best of people but we all fall short and the good ones I can tell you is there and they do not bother anyone! If there is any bad ones I can also tell you the security guard their will kick them out so fast, you wont even see it happening. Worse experience from check in. Im not one to complain and write reviews. But this was the worse place ever. When i booked my reservation online through wyndham i was given one price after tax and when i check in the front desk charged Me alot more. After I showed proof the lady told me VERY RUDE that was not her problem. I had checked in late and was coming from far so i just went to the room. After going to my room i stepped out to find a drug deal right in front of my door.. room were old and not.nice for the price they charged (i was in the GHETTO) my husband kept looming out the window to make sure out car was still there. The next day we left all day took all our bags afraid someone would breAk into the room. When we came back to our room at nite the ac was not working. And my husband went to the office the same lady that checked is in gave him attitude and said they have NEVER had issues in that hotel before which is clearly a lie. She would not change our room since we were checking out the next day and said the only thing i can do os hand him a box fan. We could hardly sleep since it was so hot. The only good experience that i had was at check out when i went to the front and spoke to Donna. She was very polite and saw the issue that the RUDE lady where she over charged us and returned me the difference. OTHER THAN her catching the other lady mistake OUR STAY WAS A NITEMARE.
