Two Fat Guys Subs & Catering — Restaurant in Florida

I work in the city and frankly there just aren't a ton of places to get real food in a hurry. Found Two Fat Guys about a year ago but it's only in the last 3 months or so that I've become a regular. The food is ALWAYS good. Sandwiches are fresh. They are generous with the meats and even if you walk in during the lunch rush they'll get you out the door pretty fast.

The real gem are the specials. It's a great variety of typically hot dishes that come with real sides. The amount of food you get for the price is excellent and the specials rarely require any wait. Had a cuban sandwich today that was fantastic. Not only was it huge by itself but it came with a real container of rice and beans. I'm a big guy and I'm stuffed!

The staff are always friendly. If you're expecting some formal/corporate atmosphere then just keep driving. Folks here are "real" and down to earth like their customers. This is where the local trade guys all eat and for good reason.

We have purchased from this restaurants three times over the past three months. The first time was so good. Everything tasted fresh, homemade, and delicious. Everyone at the office raved. I thought the pressed Cuban was delish as was the wedding soup (that was FULL of little meatballs). The second time was not good. The bread was so old and dry, the soup tasted like it came from a can and most people in the office through their lunches in the garbage. We thought maybe they had a different cook/crew or maybe they were short staffed that day. Decided to give them one more try. So very disappointed. Thought we had found a new go to place for lunch but I doubt we will ever order from them again. In two large wedding soups, there were a total of three meatballs between them and a big bowl of broth. The bread was even worse today, dry, crumbly, the sandwiches were inedible. ABSOLUTELY AMAZING FOOD & SERVICE ❣️💯✌️We just left and I immediately wanted to leave a review to let the community know what an awesome experience we had! You can definitely tell why they have been a business for 30 years!!! We got the turkey club special & an Italian, couldn’t make up our mind, on the potato salad or macaroni so we got all of it, and it was delicious 😋 !!! Gumbo soup was amazing. We even added chocolate chip cookies, half-and-half sweet tea & Arnold Palmer homemade… where can you get that these days?!!!! Well right here at Two Fat Guys Subs & Catering!!!
