I'm used to the Wawa experience I've had while residing in GA. Since my relocation to Lake Park,FL they've since built a WaWa in the area in which I feel the competition is needed since only a selected few seem to go the extra distance. However, at this point WaWa will not be one of them! I came into the location to purchase power steering fluid and just twelve dollars of gas to fill the tank before heading of to school I decided to stop here verses the racetrac down the street who is closer to i95 without fighting to get back onto the main road. I specifically stated to the attendant I would like 12dollars on 14; instead she placed my fund on a pump 4. After trying to communicate through a voice box outside that they can never seem to hear off of (why put a voice box outside then) I came into the store requesting that my funds be placed on the correct pump, the attendant apologized but had to get management to authorize it by this time I'm in the facility 13mins which is a loss of time for my drive to school in Fort Lauderdale! When the manager does choose to respond which it was shown all over his face he did not want to be bothered. I explained the issue that took place and simply wanted it corrected, and this high dreams crashing manager looked at me and stated "our cashiers are trained and insinuated I may have made a mistake" (first off its morning, which is way too early to be making mistakes especially when I have to think extra bc it's a school day for me so everything has to be precise; second, your acting as if you cashiers are machines and act as if a mistake hadn't been made from there part) so I'm already irritated after coming respectfully to handle a situation they cause a simple error on that this manager is turning into whose right and whose wrong issue. I simply stated that's not my issue but one he needs to deal with the employee for due to giving the correct information. So after the insult of being told I may have given the wrong pump number which clearly I did not bc the attendent did not dispute what i had stated he goes on to say I'll do it this time but we do not do that per our policy and that there is a lot of scamming going on; as if I didn't feel insulted already! If you or company feel that you can't trust a customers word let alone truth then you don't need credit card machines at the pump and definitely don't need cameras with microphones in the facility either. I can go on and on. However, I personally will not be coming back to this or any WaWa locations this type of service let alone slander isn't acceptable by any means, the fact that I deal with some form of customer service in the I.T field and treat ppl respectfully only to go somewhere where I purposely make sure my best foot is placed forward and to be dealt with indifferently was just enough. Read moreI'm going to give this Wawa 4 🌟 as not to drag down there overall rating. However as much as I love Wawa and have for years this location was a dysfunctional disappointment more like 2 🌟. Allow me to explain. I ordered the brisket sandwich and so did my fiance we were excited to try it, so we placed our orders and I walked to the cash wrap to prepay, the line was not long however I obviously picked the wrong line, as the wait was probably 20 minutes the middle-aged woman at the register couldn't work it and also couldn't count cash. The man in front of me ordered $9 of gas and a drink for a total of $10.06 he proceeded to hand her $20.06 she repeated 20.06 several times as she struggled to figure out how to put it into the register. the man's frustration was apparent as he to had been waiting just as long as I had with only four people ahead of us. Finally she went to hand him $14 and change, he said ma'am I handed you $20.06 my change is $10 can I please have my $10 dollars I am in a rush, they argued for a while and then another associate came over to assist her. I vouched for the man that has change was $10. I could tell he was just trying to be honest as he could have just taken the 14 dollars and left. When it was my turn she sat there with the register open looking at me to give her cash when I already processed my payment electronically with my debit card. Then she started tot take the next person without giving me a receipt I had to ask for it. Finally i walked back over and grabbed our sandwiches. It was a nice night so we decide to sit outside as there is outside seating. (When you sit down at the tables it says on them no smoking area, ) I unwrapped my sandwich and wow it look like a hot mess, wet and sloppy, and very difficult to eat, two bites in I was overwhelmed by the smell of cigarette smoke coming from two tables away, where to Wawa associates we're taking a break while smoking cigarettes unfortunately we were downwind, so I decided to wrap my sandwich up and wait to eat it later when I got home. I hate to be the one to give a Wawa a poor review but this location left a bad taste in my mouth and could use some serious work. Read moreCame here on 03/31/24 between 8:15-8:30pm, walked in all the kitchen staff was laughing, talking, getting orders out. I order 4 drinks, go over to the drink/smoothie/shake side, the women working that shift on 03/31/24 was complaining the WHOLE TIME about 4 drinks! She then says “omg these people ordered 4 drinks”. I didn’t say anything. One of the other kitchen staff working the same shift wearing a green shirt, on the sandwich side asked her if she needed help, SHE REPLIES LOUDLY “NO THEYLL GET IT WHEN THEY GET IT” so me KNOWING it’s my order and been there 10mins now, said no, I think she does need help!. The guy from the sandwich side and her then start talking quietly about me, the guy says, “I know you don’t need help!” LOUD, oh also she was CRYING. I move away and lean against the window near the got coffe and was on my phone on Twitter. SHE ASSUMED I was recording her LMFAO if I was I would’ve uploaded it! But, The guy starts just walking around talking to staff laughing like his coworker isn’t crying stressing over 4 orders, he then goes back to the sandwich side stands there and just looks me dead in my eye for a good minute as if he was waiting on me to say something to him? It continues, a manager I forgot his name, he was working the same shift, black collard shirt African American guy, bald, comes out ASK her if she needs help. He “helps” her. She then goes on to saying how she’s “done with this job seriously I’m done close it down” is her words. I’m still waiting for my drinks by the way.. no special request or nothing either. ANOTHER person came back to say they got a drink they didn’t order and one of her drinks she DID order was wrong. I finally get my 4 drinks, ALL FOUR ARE MISSING. 1st drink. Missing:the chocolate drizzle & 3oz cheesecake crumble. 2nd drink missing: caramel drizzle & chocolate chips. 3rd drink missing: cookie crumble on top, and chocolate drizzle. 4th drink missing: caramel drizzle & chocolate chips. DO NOT RECOMEND THIS PLACE AT ALL! Whole staff thought it was a joke and the “manager” just left and went back in the back. Worst experience at a wawa.
