She was working at the 45th street location yesterday Sunday 10/26/25 I rented a unit at the 45th street location on Saturday but I didn't have access until Sunday which was yesterday I was told on Saturday by the NICE young lady GINA who helped me with getting the unit to come back on Sunday and put my door lock in the unit and to avoid being charged for a lock just turn in the new lock that was provided with the unit as instructed I went to the 45th street location at about 3:15pm no one was there and the office was locked so I proceeded to go and put my lock on the unit and retrieve the new lock to be returned by the time I got back to the front Roesha had returned to the office she was actually just pulling up in her car I gave her time to park her car and walk to the door to open it as I was walking up to the door she told me she was on lunch I said excuse me she said she was on lunch I said okay and explained to her what I needed which was just to return the lock to avoid charges for the new lock she proceeded to tell me that I would have to wait because she was on lunch so I asked how long she would be on lunch she told me she didn't know mind you it is now 3:30pm so I said okay what time do you close because I can come back she said 4pm so I said Oh okay so you're on lunch you dont know how long you will be on lunch and you're closing in 30 minutes she then proceeded to tell me that she was doing public storage a favor by even coming in to work for them because she didn't normally work at the 45th street location and public storage didnt have anyone to work at the store so I said to her dont worry I will just call customer service and explain to them what just happened and I would come back on Monday to turn the lock in because I didn't want to interrupt her lunch and interfere with her closing in the next thirty minutes I proceeded to get in my car I did contact customer service and explained to them how rude Roesha was I was told that I would get a call from her district manager by the end of next buisness day but I have not received a call this is not my first time doing buisness with Public Storage I have done buisness with them quite a few times and it has always been at the 45th street location the regular employees that work there are very professional and know how to speak to customer Roesha needs to take some pointers from them I have never experienced such rudeness and unprofessional behavior all I wanted to do was return a lock Public Storage you are going to loose customers behind Roesha and her behavior and im still waiting on a call from the...
Read morePUBLIC WARNING / REVIEW THEFT INSIDE THE STORAGE – BE CAREFUL! I’m leaving this warning for anyone considering renting a unit at this Public Storage in [insert location 3601 W Blue Heron - Riviera Beach FL, Florida]. Today I went to pick up my boat and discovered that I was the victim of a major theft inside this storage facility, a place that’s supposed to be safe and monitored by security cameras 24/7. Stolen items: (2) Marine batteries – $400 (1) Rockville marine amplifier – $280 (4) Kicker Marine bar speakers – $1,600 (2) Kicker 6” speakers – $250 (5) Life jackets (1) Battery jumper – $90 (2) Lock keys (wheel and trailer locks) Total estimated loss: over $2,600. What’s most outrageous is the attitude of the staff — extremely rude, cold, and indifferent, showing no willingness to help at all. Not a single employee came to inspect the scene, even after I asked multiple times. It honestly feels like they’re already used to these thefts — or worse, they know exactly what’s going on and choose to ignore it. I spoke with several other customers while I was there, and everyone confirmed that thefts are common at this location. This means there’s a serious and ongoing security problem, and the management does absolutely nothing to protect customers. The storage company immediately denied any responsibility, saying they won’t pay for the damages — even though the theft happened inside their facility, which is supposed to be covered with cameras that “mysteriously” never record anything. This is unacceptable and shows a huge failure in security and management. It feels like a complete scam: you pay a high price for a “secure” storage space, trust your property there, and later find out that robberies happen often and no one is held accountable. My warning to everyone: ➡️ Before renting here, go visit the location and look around the back area. ➡️ Talk to other renters — many will confirm that thefts happen all the time. ➡️ Don’t trust the so-called “security” they advertise. I truly hope this review helps prevent others from going...
Read moreOur house was damaged by hurricane irmo and our landlord decided to sell. We were stuck and had to move out of state while I was 5 months pregnant. We were assured our belongings to our 4 bedroom house were safe with them. Then I had complications with my pregnancy forcing us to have to leave our stuff for 6 months. We paid over $300 a month to them. I had the baby and them we came for our stuff only to find EVERYTHING WAS RUINED. we had water damage from a leaky roof, our couch and clothes and boxes were chewed so bad by rats and were covered in rat poop and urine, we had 3 dead and decaying rats in our unit and because of this it was infested with roaches and maggots everywhere. They told us they couldn't refund me the 2+ grand I had paid them. They said it would be covered by the insuramce policy WHICH ONLY COVERS $200 FROM RODENTS. My couch and mattresses for myself and kids were only 6 months old when they were stored. Thats over 3 grand alone not to mention everything else. They wouldn't even give me any boxes to replace the water damaged ones because they "cost money" they took 90 minutes to even come remove the dead rats so we had to step around them. We had to sort through everything. Then they kicked us out at 6. This was on 7/31. I removed my destroyed belongings I had worked so hard for and left back to sc. Then the next day I recieved a bill for August rent. Even though I was out. I paid for my stuff to be safely stored. I basically paid them $315 a month to feed my belongings to their rats. DO NOT STORE HERE! We met someone that same day with the same problems as us. I hope my story saves...
