I have stayed at this hotel twice. The first time I stayed, the only problem I had was that every set of keys they made would randomly stop working. I had to get a total of 4 sets of keys in 2 days. As a result, I made a complaint to the manager because being on the 3rd third floor made this very inconvenient. The manager did not really seem to care and was somewhat rude about the situation, but other than that no big deal. 4 months later I booked another room at the same hotel because it is right near a music studio where my husband is recording. We arrived around midnight, it was a very long drive and upon trying to check in, I was informed that a "DNR" (do not rent) was placed under my husband's name. I was absolutely astonished because I had no idea what on Earth she could have been talking about, I assumed this had to have been a mistake. She explained to me that the computer said something along the lines that there was an aggravated incident that happened during our last stay. Nothing "aggravated" happened during our first stay at this hotel. Upon thinking about it more, I explained to her that I did make a complaint to the manager, but in no way could it ever be considered aggravated. She then confirmed with me that the manager did in fact place a DNR in my husband's name because of the complaint I made. As infuriated as I was that the manager had the audacity to blacklist us from staying at this hotel --- simply because I made a legitemate complaint about a service that we paid good money for, I decided to change the name of the reservation to mine just because it was so late at night and we needed a place to sleep. The room that was assigned to us was nothing like the last time, there were cigarette burns in several places and it just did not feel clean. The shower was so gross looking I didn't even want to step inside. We will never stay at this hotel again. Not saying the entire company is bad, but this particular location has a terrible manager. It's a managers job to make sure their guests are satisfied and if they're having a repeated problem, just do your job!!! Don't place a DNR on people because you didn't like having to deal with a minor inconvenience as a result of your faulty keys.

Lobby smells like cigarette smoke. This should of been our sign to not check in. Got placed in our room on the 3rd floor that has 1 set of stairs on the back side of the building. Parked, got all our belongings, our dog, and went to the room. We got a non smoking room and it smelt like smoke. I always check the beds for bugs. Good news, no bed bugs but The mattress was stained and the other had a cigarette burn. Pillows had stain. The counters in the kitchen didn't look like they had been cleaned. Coffee maker missing plug. Bathroom door didnt shut. Shower was dirty. Crumbs in chair at table. Tiles in bathroom cracked and flooring missing transition strip. Booked at another hotel and went to turn in our key. The front desk workers said it is policy to not issue a refund after 15 mins of check in because there are people that " pop in and pop out of the rooms". So cool, we almost stayed at a place known for the workers of the night. Which all hotels could be considered that, but the up keep of the rooms should not show previous activities. Non of the night shift workers are managers and have no clue as to what their rooms look like. Was told to call back in the morning to talk to a manager for a refund since we didn't stay. Pictures online do not reflect current condition of rooms. Update : the manager stated that housekeeping would need to see the room before issuing a refund but the room was booked out after we returned the key. Seems if the room was given out again, we should be able to get out refund, but nope.

Stayed there two daya ago. I went in open minded but was completly disappointed. My disappointment started even before I was checked in. I arrived at 1:30 with a prepaid stay. I was told that unless I was willing to pay $25 I couldn't check in till 3. I have stayed at multi-million dollar resorts that don't squibble about an hour and a half but a Motel 6. Whew. So, we go into town anf come back later. We were given a room on the 2nd floor. No elevators? What the?? O.k. Went up to the room. The AC was cranked, the room had a musty bowling alley smell. It was supposedly a non-smoking room but I'm guessing that wasn't enforced. The walls were paper thin and the people in the next room sounded like they were in our room playing Playstation all night. On a sign in the front office it clearly states, "No fixing cars in lot." but there right in front of 135 were people under a hood messing with a car engine. This was a journey for my family and I. We stayed in several hotels and this was by far the worst. But wait, just when you thought, how bad could it have been, some teenage boys were riding their bikes around at 2 am knocking on doors. Stay away. Sleep in your car. Take a shower at a truck stop.

I only gave it a star because I have to.. I was hoping to give them a good review, but it was a nightmare to stay there. As soon as I pulled in I wanted to leave. It is an old building in a shady area. I arrived 30 minutes early, my room was assigned the night before but still not allowed to check in.One of the cards for the door was dirty and stained.. I washed it. The photos online are very deceiving. The place is old and filthy. Guest services front desk employees are friendly. After finally checking in, I went up to check the suite and I was shocked. It was so dirty and sink was clogged. Guys if hot wire or any other site offers a none refundable room..don't! I was forced to stay and I thought my vaca. was ruened. The bathroom was so disgusting. Toilette was very dirty, as if not cleaned for months. Walls were moldy, tub dirty..:( I was moved to another suite. That toilet was also dirty, blk hair in the tub and dirty..mixed with laint. Blk hair on towels and blankets. The light top blanket was dirty with holes fron cigarette burns. Phone and wiffi do not work. Smelled like mold so i used stick ups for the bad smell. The weather strip on the door was gone you could see out about an inch crom the floor and definitely feel the heat. I used tape to tape the water plastic to the door to try to minimize the gap and block bugs. There were dead bugs stuck on the floor when i checked in. I was there for a week and slept with the lights on. There were stains on the wall I picked this place because of the kitchen and pool..well.. there were no pots and the pool was filthy..you couldnt see the bottom.of the pool. I called guest services about the pots and they sent me to the maid room to ask for pots. I was handed 3 filthy pots with burnt food stuck with oil and I don't know what else.. So I did not use it.one spoon, one fork..coffee pot was rusty. Couldn't use the kitchen or pool at all. The next day I wanted to use the microwave to warm up my meal, but the microwave did not work. I called itvin..the maintenance guy came in, switched them and took my food along with him.i was charged the last night more than agreed..House keeping are rude, snappy..I called front desk after the 2nd day of house keeper not coming by, this Hispanic woman with curly hair and tatooes on her arm took over an hour on the last room prior to cleaning my room. I called several times in over 2hrs to ask if she was coming. So I finally went and asked. She said I was going to be last. She wasted my day,I was waiting for her. Then she raises her voice at me,telling me I had to step out for her to clean.i waited outside only for her to turn lights of I guess so I couldn't see. But she left towels tossed on sink which she did not clean..and a mix of dirty towels. She only made the beds, left a messy wet floor..no bathroom meaning, vanity..not even restock of soaps. I couldn't believe the way she talked to me. So the fourth day when they decided to bang on the door for house keeping, I decided not too have them come in for a hot even half job.I don't know what house keeping dles, but for what I can see..not very much cleaning. There's no team work between front desk and housekeeping. I was blood on the corner of my mattress under the sheet. So Is it on top of my own blanket.take your pick, the shady back parking lot with police arresting people or facing the freeway where you can feel and hear the planes. Oh, and the water incshowers goes hot then cold..I never took my sandals off.. sticky floors too..Not by far what was advertised. I should get a refund..I don't know how they are still in service. The only highlight is the...

I parked in the back, exactly where the clerk told me to. The next morning, a window had been busted out and some things stolen. When I told a different clerk the next morning, she said if you park in the front there are security cameras. Two nights later, when I told the original clerk, named Phil, I can't sleep because I'm worried about my car, can you keep an eye on it? It's on the screens because now I know where to park. He said "it's on the camera", as if that is the same as him actually looking at the video feed sometimes. He informed me he is not going to babysit my car. He informed me that the next clerk is also not going to babysit my car. He asked if I'd like to check out.

Turns out, since I couldn't sleep for worrying about my car, and since he was so unbelievably rude, I did want to check out.

When I went to check out, around 11:30pm, I asked for the rude man's name and she said his first name, after asking why I wanted to know. I asked for the manager's name, and I said I want to talk to her. She said how can you talk to her without her number? She refused to give me the number but did give the first name. She said she would be there "in the morning", refusing to be specific when I asked for more details.

When she took my key card and said I was checked out and just looked at me. I was standing there. She says "you need something else?" I said yeah, my receipt. She said if you want a receipt, you should have asked for one!! Unfreaking believable. But wait, there's more. She charged me for the full 7 days I originally booked instead of the three, including tonight, that I stayed. She accused ME of being rude because I was getting irritated. But not insulting or threatening, just demanding she take off the charge for four freaking days I wasn't going to be staying. She refused!!! She also refused to tell me her name, which is Meranda. I told her I'm not leaving until she refunds my money! She eventually just stopped talking to me. Won't refund my money, won't tell me her name, won't give me information about when the manager would be in. I told her to refund my money or I would call the police. She said to call them.

So I did. I'm not leaving with four extra days charged on my credit card. She must be crazy. You can't take someone's money, call them rude because that theft irritates them, withhold information, and think they're going to just go away!! This, after the other clerk instructed me to park in the insecure area where my car was broken into and later told me he isn't babysitting my car.

The manager seems to be pretty incompetent with her insanely rude staff and insecure parking lot.

So the police stayed as she lied to them, telling them she issued the refund and told me it would be a few days before it was on my card, and I was angry about that. No she had not. And before I called the police, I asked again, are you going to give me my refund? Total silence as before.

While waiting for them, I tried to call motel 6 customer service and they're only available in the daytime.

In the end, she issued most of the refund, they still owe me $43.65, which I will try to get.

I took the amount they charged to my card, divided by 7 days, that's what they charged per day. But no she doesn't agree. So she paid less than they owe me. She is charging me tax and/or the pet fee for four days I will not be there. She thinks I am being unreasonable. Just unbelievable rudeness and incompetence.

And by the way, I booked using hotels.com. Less than two hours after checking out early, they won't let me write a review. So don't trust their reviews...

This was the worse stay EVER!!!! Let me start off by saying when I 1st pulled in on Thursday nigh I felt this would not be a good stay! The front desk clerk was stand “in front” of the building by the lobby, smoking. I instantly felt regretful. I already had booked and paid, against my better judgement I checked in. As I went to my room the outside trash cans were overflowing with trash, people all standing outside hanging out. I made it to my room & needless to say my key didn’t work, so back to the front desk I went. I was told my cellphone was the cause of it. So finally I get into my room and instantly you can tell the floor hadn’t seen a mop prior to me checking in & the walls were visible dirty. I ran to Walmart to get cleaning supplies and came back of course my key isn’t working, so back to the front desk again, and guess who’s outside smoking? If you said the front desk clerk you would be correct. So again he blames it on my phone, and I’m off to my room. On Friday I left for breakfast, came back the key wasn’t working again, so I went to the front desk, left to go to the store, the key wasn’t working again, so I went to the front desk, went to six flags, came the key wasn’t working yet again, this particular time I went upstairs a total of 6 times even requested a new key & it still didn’t work. The front desk clerk said he believed that the battery in the lock was dead, so instead of changing it he had to bring a device to let me back in my room EVERYTIME I left out the room. Let me State I’m in town for the weekend celebrating my birthday so I was CONSTANTLY in and out. I felt like a child checking in with my parents asking to be let back in. Finally I get pissed of and asked if they had emergency maintenance so that I don’t have to do this the remainder of my stay or another room. They said no they don’t have emergency maintenance & no they didn’t have an extra room. I then asked who runs the motel because if I have to inconvenience myself to get “approval” to get in my room everytime I leave then my bill needs to be adjusted, of course that information was NEVER provided nor was a credit. The front desk clerk told me “oh don’t worry just come and wake me up, I’ll let you in.” In my head I’m thinking this lady is telling me she’s clocking in at 11p and she’s about to got to sleep, on the job. TRAGIC!!! So Saturday comes and maintenance comes and changes the battery, well guess what? Yep still doesn’t work. So an hour later the lock is finally replaced. Residents are outside barbecuing (fire hazard) and I’m in my room shaking my head, wondering how in the world did I end up in this rachet place. So if you’re reading this review contemplating staying, stop what you’re...
