Overview- this place was more like a trailer park than a camp ground but the pull through sites were nice. The park was very clean. The staff and residents were very friendly. The bath rooms very clean. If you are passing through for a night or two this could be a nice stop. If you want an active community as a snow bird this might be a great place.
In/out- the in was easy with a 30' trailer. The out required we pull out of the spot and back up about 10' to make turn for the exit. Roads were narrow but manageable.
Bathrooms- very clean, well used but good.
Laundry- yes very well used, residents were there at 7am to start loads so you might have to squeeze in.
Sites Power- we had 30 50 and 120.
Water- great water pressure, so use a regulator. Ours registered over 60psi.
Waste- no pick up but there is a large brown fenced in are for trash and maintenance stuff.
Cable- yes but there is also about a dozen OTA channels
Cell service- we used Verizon with less than 90db or 4 bars, very good connection about100mbs down and 10 up.
WiFi- there was WiFi but not as fast as our cell and no streaming per rules. Didn't try any speed test as connectivity was spotty.
Workout- shuffle board was all we could find on a short tour of the grounds.
Other amenities - there were a lot of activities scheduled like a dance, dinners, etc several people asked about attending the activities but finding them was another story. Ask where to find them or better yet ask to have someone stop by to show you were they are and make a new local friend.
Near by activities, there are several local activities that are close by and are listed in the check in info. Beaches, historic places and shopping to name a few.
Misc thoughts. If you are looking to snowbird this might be the place for you. If you want to glamp or camp you might want to find one of the state parks near by. If you need hook ups and are stopping for just a few nights this place should be fine.

These are our opinions and we have not been compensated. You may have a different experience but this was ours. We have a 30' trailer and 3/4 ton pickup.. Our reviewis based mainly on that rig setup. #TheAdventureKrewe @adventurekrewe #airstream

Read moreI am highly disappointed with this campground. I live local to it and when I bought a new camper thought it would be a great place to start and familiarize myself with the camper. I made reservations for a particular site. The morning I arrived my site was given away to another person and they tried putting me in a less desirable area. I ended up paying more to get a pull through site but was disappointed with how it was handled. To add insult to injury I decided to reserve again at this campground and guess what? Yup, you guessed it. My reserved site was given away again. I was told by the ladies in the office this is a common thing and never plan on staying on the site you reserve because they are all the time having to shift people around. Then on top of that they tried putting me on a less than desirable spot again which I did. I even parked my camper and had everything all set up to find out there was no cable for tv. When I went to the office the ladies said that area has no cable and can only use satellite. I was asked why I wasn’t informed of this ahead of time. They got half nasty and said they don’t tell people that. I was told there was a pull through site available but not for the entire week So I had to cut my trip short by 3 days. I did enjoy my time there but with all this being said I will never stay there again and hope people see this review so they are cautious about staying there also. No other campground has done this to me. Only this one. And even when I cut my vacation there short they acted like it was my fault. Very...
Read moreI don't recall if I ever reviewed Woodsmoke since we left there at the end of March. Especially, with all the craziness that has taken place since then. My wife and I were lucky enough to land a site here after opting to be put on a waiting list. I think Woodsmoke called us about 3 weeks after doing so. Anyway, this place was beautifully set up and very clean. The roads and sites are paved. They have a nice size pool and hot tub, pavilion with many activities, and there are year round residents on the property too. It is really cool to walk around and look at how these residents have fixed up their modulars/manufactured, or double wide homes. Most are VERY nice. We really liked the home closest to the pool and entrance with all the plants and lighting. This resort was close to everything. Walmart is within walking distance. Restaurants of all flavors close by. Our favorite was the Bahama Breeze, which was only about 10 minutes to the north on 41. Most all the people we met at Woodsmoke were very friendly. The first day we arrived I had barely got my truck in reverse to back into our site when two gentleman appeared from neighboring sites to help me out. That was very appreciated! All in all we had a wonderful time while at Woodsmoke and hope to get back there soon. We highly recommend Woodsmoke Camping Resort. Oh, some of the reviews I read previous to going there mentioned the on site treatment facility and if the wind was just right you could smell the stink. ...
