ABSOLUTE MUST EXPERIENCE!!!! Ever had one of those random stops for food and it ends up being some of the best food you have ever eaten? Well, that was me today/this morning! I rarely leave reviews for places but holy sh does this place deserve it. I work on the move & decided to stop and get a bite to eat this morning. The closest well rated breakfast spot near me was FK Your Diet. Menu looked amazing and prices were very decent. Called in a to-go breakfast burrito & “Doug H nut” (donut), just to grab and head on my way to the next job. Listen here… when the nice lady behind the counter handed me the bag, with a burrito* in it… and it weighed quite literally like 4Lbs (i am not joking) I had to see what was up. I get to my car, open the box, AND THE BURRITO TOOK UP THE ENTIRE BOX. Standard like 8”x8” restaurant box. Full. Whole thing. This burrito is three times the size of my forearm. I am not exaggerating. And had SO much going on. Eggs, bacon, potatoes, peppers, onions, mushrooms, spinach, jalapenos, tomatoes, avocado, cheese… like WUT. Then… THEN, the flavor of this monster is UN-REAL. Absolutely the best burrito i have ever had. Ever. And lastly… the “Doug H Nut.” It’s a donut. Also, the best donut I have ever had. It’s like a donut… but made out of funnel cake, or some other wildly dense yet fluffy cake. So so SO so SOOOO FKn good! I told myself I was going to just try it after completely filling myself from the burrito (a QUARTER of it that it)…. Nope.. ended up inhaling the entire thing. Never had a donut that rich and giggle inducing… & with a cup of coffee = 🤌
Needless to say I got back out of my car and marched right back in to tell the cashier and Doug how incredible the food/experience was. Top top top notch food!! I cannot express enough: in a recent world of everything being barely bare minimum quality for maximum cost - Doug/FK Your Diet really REAALLLYYY raises the bar of genuine American comfort cuisine! Today was my first time here, & my first of many many many solo & family weekly visits to come!
Edit — 1. I got home… after already eating my “burrito” to fullness… and had another meal off of it. I cut off another fourth, which fills an entire average dinner place, AND STILL HAVE HALF OF IT LEFT. I can’t get over this. 🤣 AND FINALLY, to top it all off, after looking into this place more I learn FK isn’t like some (or maybe is) a pun on F**K Your Diet, but actually stands for Foster Kids. These wonderful people donate profits AND much much more than food/money to the Foster Kid system. Starting, organizing and contributing to all kinds of initiatives for the Foster Kids system.
I’ll be posting pictures and if I can a video!!!
I’m blown away by this business. The people, the food, the mission. Hats off Doug.

Read moreI am a disabled father of a 12 year old son I reached out to the owner of FK your diet Before Christmas trying to get help for getting presents for my son because I have no income and had no way of getting him anything he told me that he could help he offered me a laptop or a Nintendo switch I have no car and no transportation no money to pay anyone for a ride I found somebody that would pick it up for me as soon as I contacted him and told him I had somebody that could pick it up for me he changed his mind and said that it was giving away and it sounded like a scam I sent him a picture of my driver's license and documentation from Lee Memorial Health System saying that I am unable to work and he said that he could not help me I had already told my son that I was getting him a good gift because he told me all I had to do was pick it up and that he had it for me I let my son down even more because I didn't get him what I told him I was because he withdrew the offer I thought that was the end of it the following morning I had a missed call and text message from him I have no phone service I have an app that only works with wi-fi and does not always work when I saw that he had messaged me I called him back and texted him he said that he gave the gift away that he had gotten something and gave that away I feel like the whole thing was nothing more than a big disappointment for my son it was bad enough that I wasn't able to get him anything but he knew that I wasn't able to get him anything but it was worse once I knew that I was getting him either a laptop or a switch and then that got taken away because he said it sounded like a scam because I didn't have a ride and had to have somebody else pick it up for me with my medical conditions I literally only leave the house to go to doctor's appointments and once a month to go to the grocery store I think it's very wrong to give somebody hope and then take it away especially at Christmas it broke my heart and the look on my son's face when I told him that the present that I told him I was getting for him was no longer available will haunt me forever. And have you seen the prices? 18.00 for a bit, 3.17 for a side of toast. Don't waste your money you could make it better at home for way cheaper and...
Read moreMy husband and I recently had the pleasure of dining at FK Your Diet after volunteering there. We weren’t sure what to expect, as many places we’ve tried in SWFL have left us questioning our taste buds and wondering how others enjoy their meals. But wow, FK Your Diet completely blew us away! First of all, the portion sizes are insane. I didn’t see a single person leave with an empty plate, not because the food was subpar, but because the portions were so generous that a to-go box seemed like a standard accessory at every table. And let me tell you, the aroma alone was enough to make my mouth water! The biscuits and gravy were everything you hope for in comfort food... warm, hearty, and so homey that it felt like a hug on a plate! And those potatoes? Slathered with my personal choice of toppings (onions, peppers, cheese, mushrooms etc.), they were the bomb dot com. I honestly don’t have the words to do them justice. Let’s just say, if you haven’t tried their fried potatoes, you’re seriously missing out! Everything on our plates exceeded every expectation. Doug and Amy, the incredible duo behind FK Your Diet, have somehow managed to create the best restaurant in SWFL while still dedicating so much of their time and energy to serving the community. The love and care they pour into everything they do are evident, not just in the food, but also in the way they treat every guest. Hearing them tell each diner, “Love you,” is such a simple yet powerful gesture. Coming from a kid who likely didn’t experience enough love growing up, it’s a sentiment that hits deeply home. Well, we loved this restaurant, the food, and the people. We’ll absolutely be back every chance we get to enjoy the best, homiest meal in SWFL. Thank you, FK Your Diet, for filling both our bellies and our hearts! "Love you!"
