Read moreI don't often bother leaving bad reviews I just chalk the situation up to a learning experience or a mistake never to be repeated. However this needs to be said because never have I had such a terrible hospitality experience in my life. Recently while attending a conference in San Jose I stayed here because all the hotels closer to the the convention center showed as booked. I began calling around to make sure I had a place and finally got this booking. Unfortunately no one mentioned at the time of booking that the property was being renovated. The property was abysmal. I was charged a luxury hotel room rate per night and although I appreciate supply and demand with the best of them this was nothing short of gouging. The only time I've seen an ironing board without a cover on it has been at home when washing my own and yet I saw that twice in both rooms when I stayed here. Now discovering this only after arriving put me in what I can only describe as a vulnerable and angered position. Having no other options I stayed and made the best of a terrible situation. They double charged my credit card and if that wasn't enough the manager had the audacity to to claim that many people never pay so they had to protect their business. I've attached a few pictures because in cases such as these seeing is believing and no one traveling should ever have to be subject to this kind of bad business antics. I can say with 💯 certainty that Days Inn will never get any patronage from me ever again. The one bad apple adage definitely rings true for this chain. As I typically wouldn't paint all locations with the same brush after sharing my experience through a survey/rate your stay I thought for sure someone would reach out and follow up but as I've heard nothing in a month I thought this might help some unsuspecting traveler avoid a...
Read moreThe worst nightmare ever, I booked a room here through Booking.com 4 months in advance out of convenience. Upon arrival there was a tweeker in the parking lot waxing his truck at 11o’clock at night??! Then when checking in at the office there was multiple drug and prostitution transactions ?! Despite all this we checked in because we live 3 hours away and was at family function all day and didn’t want to drive at night. When entering our room it was so disgusting that the scene stopped us in our tracks ! One of beds was just used , all the blankets were bunched up in a pile on the bed, on the other bed was multiple stains from multiple uses and both beds were covered with hair . The restroom was straight out of a movie, the toilet seat was broken and hanging off the side of the toilet, the toilet paper dispenser was was broken off the wall with just one jagged piece sticking out making it an immediate walk in hazard and the tub had so much dirt and grime in it that made the worst construction site better to look at !! The television was broken off the wall and leaned against the wall on the dresser with no stands creating a very great potential for becoming a fall hazard . All the walls were so filthy beyond belief, all this took a fraction of a minute to know we were not staying there …..and to top it all off I couldn’t get a refund because I booked the through a third party ( Booking.com) Do not make the same mistake I did, avoid this place at all costs . Not only did I lose all my money I still had to drive 3 hours home in middle of the night!!!!! Worst it...
