Indeed an improvement from last year (still don.t like the new brand logo), fresh paint, new carpet, semi healthy breakfast, great waffle maker station, coffee and hit water station, the food the best what one can expect from a hotel without a kitchen. Heck, that is what industry standard is. Pick the healthy parts, i.e. plain yogurt, egg whites, fruit, waffles (lol). Very considered the different choices of milk from almond, no fat etc. Rooms are great ( unless they were deodorizer because some disrespectful individual smoked in it) The penalty should be $300 plus bot only $150... not enough. workout room exists and its enough to maintain your routine, however only one key to regulate the airconditioning and that key is on thecareyajers belt and he is not always around = warm (remedy leave the door open) There should be a better solution but heck minimalistic is when the air is on off vs. off. Minor room issues, but super nice towel and toilet paper design preparation by house keeping. Nice touch. Liked it.

Would not recommend! Only saw one staff member who did not seem like they wanted to be bothered. Bed was lumpy and sunken in. Shower drain would not stay open, had to wedge a bar of soap in the drain to keep it open just so the water could drain. Only saw one employee the while I was there and thankfully they were nice but I didn't feel welcomed. Rooms are a decent size. Toiletries were just lotion and soap. Body soap, shampoo, and conditioner attached to shower wall were not good quality. The hot tub outside looked clean but was extremely dirty, I got out and my skin was covered in dirt and debris. Dated rooms, old appliances. Overall nothing was worth the price at all! Definitely pass on this hotel. Location is decent near the airport at least. No food anywhere near here.

The hotel is very clean. The breakfast served in the morning is good. There are some vegetarian options as well. There is no dine in option available at the hotel. There is a vending machine on every floor. Sauna bath facility is available at the hotel. The hotel doesn't provide shuttle services to the airport. Coyote point beach and golf course are near by.

North elevator was out of service much of my 6 night stay in room 318. Waiting unnecessarily long for an elevator can be trying at times.

Early in my stay, the room's LG TV had "no signal" for several hours. Front desk said they were aware & the issue was system wide. No time frame offered, but it was eventually resolved. Not a huge deal.

24 hour notice required in order to have your room cleaned. No reason offered during check-in.

In light of the above, how are towels handled? You gotta ask the chambermaid for fresh towels after placing damp towels outside the room door. However, fresh towels are available at front desk if you forget to ask or cannot track down a chambermaid. It's awkward especially when the floor's chambermaid is inside another room and you have to call her out for towels.

Whirlpool is either out of service or not being used due to omicron variant. No biggy.

Even though the front desk said to me that their underground parking is defended with cameras, I didn't see any. At night it's creepy; do not leave valuables in your vehicle. Their undefended underground parking area is an auto burglary trap in my view. Park on top.

From 6 to 10AM, 7 days, this venue offers a fabulous continental breakfast. Scrambled eggs, flour tortillas, potatoes, waffles, fresh fruit, yogurt, accompanied with steaming freshly brewed coffee is tough to beat. It's wonderful. Oh, complimentary coffee, tea, & hot chocolate are available anytime.

WiFi excellent. No issues. Signal strong & steady. Front desk gives you a code at check-in.

Finally, the location for this venue is unbeatable. You are in position. And the front desk personnel are friendly & helpful. They want to help, they really do.

Would I stay here again, heck yes, those flour tortillas wrapped around scrambled eggs & spuds make me want to return again & again. Where's the...

BED BUGS! There were bed bugs in my original room 427 and I was bit all over my body. The desk staff was argumentative with me when I reported it the next day, asking why I didn’t report it that night, implying that I made it up. I explained that I didn’t feel the bites until at work the next day, and yet the questions continued. Later I spoke to the manager, Chris Walton, and he said he would comp the first night. When I got the bill he had only taken half ($77) off. When I called to ask about it he said that they didn’t find bed bugs in the room and he implied he didn’t believe me. I told him I found the white shells they leave behind and have pictures of them. Also, I had shown him the bites on my arms. He basically had no reaction to this and said he didn’t think the room had bed bugs, so the conversation ended. I felt this was handled unprofessionally by everyone involved. One other thing - the next day I came back from lunch and I saw the maid cleaning room 427, so I asked her if she had been informed about the bed bugs, and she said she didn’t know about them. The room was poorly cleaned and the area under the headboard had not been cleaned in a very long time. My company has primarily used Best Western for years but we will no longer be using them because of this incident and how poorly it was handled. It was a huge distraction to the work I was...
