Colonial Town Park — Local services in Sanford

This place makes you feel like Dorothy and the Wizard of Oz. There's no place like home, remember that? They ruined this park, and took the block parties and live bands and great entertainment and turned it into a desolate wasteland with boring retail venues. You can't blame it on covid. Blame it on poor planning and lack of edgenuuty. This town builds thousands of apartments with absolutely no entertainment for its residents. What a waste of resources. We need creative entrepreneurs to make this affluent area like Maitland and Lake Nona. We need MUSIC, lounges, and happy hour venues with ENTERTAINMENT. Hangry Bison has the potential but wont think outside the box. Take notes and see how "high dollar areas" can create fun and entertainment for people and families of all ages. Today marked my first day being to a theater in 14 years. 14! I am glad chose this one. During the afternoon on a weekday, it is scarce. Nice and quiet, fast through to the movie. Saw Tomb Raider, which was great! Anyway. The theater is very clean, and is very nice. Seats are comfortable, and RECLINE! Best row is definitely C! I didn't get any snacks, however I wouldn't be surprised to find them to be good.

My only complaint would be the screen the film was projected on was a little dirty. Unnoticeable during dark scenes, but bright scenes, it's clear. That's just knit picky, but I'm observant.

Nice mix of businesses and restaurants. Very family-friendly but also great for adults wanting a fun night out. Great place to walk around after eating at one of the restaurants. The shopping center has undergone changes; some places have left while new businesses have come in. Hope they fill the old Graffiti Junktion spot soon as it looks very depressing empty). Bring in an upscale bar!

There’s been some trouble makers hanging around the movie theatre in the past but it seems they’ve tried addressing this by having a Seminole county deputy patrol that particular area. Parking is very tight on weekends, which is to be expected. Wish they had more options, like a...
